  1. I have posted numerous times to keep this in emails and you are posting here...quite simple. I told you to email me tomorrow... He wants it out in the open, it makes sense. Let it be in the open, less you are hiding something.
  2. I wouldn't do that box, port is to small. But I think the 2 12"s would be better.
  3. Why do you want to change amps? What are the specs on the box the woofers are in?
  4. How much power is going to be on it? Specs on box? Friend of mine has 8 3512" on 2,600rms a piece takes the decently.
  5. I can do awesomely loud, awesome sounding, and epically efficient I just can't do Sketch-up good. lol
  6. Have you been listening to Alan again? Not quite. lol I haven't talked to him in months. I've been building alot of boxes lately with fairly substantial, 20-22^2 per cube is what it works out to, ports and have see nothing but success. Usually a very flat response, usually within a single db from 28Hz-55Hz with a tuning around 33Hz-35Hz. But yes, if the design itself isn't right the woofers will unload FAR easier then a box with a small port. But there are ways to counter act most unloading issues. If your having success with designs, why question them? We both know we've got these designs down pat, some people are just jealous I'm not questioning it. lol I'm asking who thinks big ports are peaky? Trying to help educate people.

  8. On the contrary, you just made yourself look ignorant. You're assuming people went from SA's TO AQ's. This was not the case. SA's were put into the AQ boxes. So I guess the SA's are WAY better because they do better in the wrong box when the AQ as an optimal box. Actually that's quite an accomplishment, way to prove him right. So he's saying the box was better for the SA's, showing the people didn't know how to make the AQ's work right. This guy is a fuck nut.
  9. I wish I could give you the technical reasons for why large port don't get peaky, but I don't know for sure the reason.
  10. We're looking for 150's soon. Same basic equipment, just electrical work.
  11. not sure how many sockets fullsizes use. mine needed 6. for the ac mine used 4x T5's. and the headlight has a led soldered in so i didnt bother... You have more gauges then I have. lol So 6 should work fine.
  12. How many sockets do I need? I also wanna change the AC knobs, and headlight knob.
  13. Vent size. I hear it alot.
  14. FTW!!!! lol Means I'm doing it right.
  15. Is the enclosure "bolted down" ??? I'm tuned in !!! No that's sealed score, it's louder sealed. lol The box is sitting ontop a bolted down board where the seat should be. It's not going anywhere.
  16. I thought about it! lol She said no.

Lights/hood Score!!!! Nice.
  18. Who is under the impression that bigger ports have narrower band widths compared to smaller port boxes? I have heard this a few times in the last few days. I wanna if this is a common miss-conception.
