  1. Good to know. I'll be needing a few hundred feet soon.
  2. I had a DD3518 in 9cubes tuned to 32hz. It dug all the way to 22 hz before I would start to worry about it. Btw, this was on a saz1500D at .5ohm. After taking everything into account and given the chance I may have chosen a different subwoofer for the goals that I set but the deal was too good to pass up and the results were nothing short of amazing IMHO. Point being that just stating that a certain subwoofer is garbage when you have probally never even owned one is not cool and very misleading to some of our more inexpirenced members. This wasn't directed toward you ,Duran, in any way. Just thought I would give you a case of the red ass lol. The lower models aren't as SPL based as much, you also need to take into account you had it in 9 cubes, of course the low end will be more pronounced I wouldn't call a 3500 low end by any means. It's a single step below the 9500 series. Which, Duran, you have seen Bret's videos, they get low and nasty.
  3. At 60+ HZ? I was at Finals this year, and I saw no CRX that made me go WOWWW.
  4. Yeah, bring it to me. I won't charge you, and more then likely can fix it or at least find the problem.
  5. I was told this by multiple CRX owners, and have seen it myself.
  6. Only guy to talk to about CRX's on here is Sicweasel when he gets on. And Find Matt Sibley on the USACi forum. His was LOUD. 162's.
  7. There better be some 10"s or 12"s going into there!!!
  8. I'll take your face, and shove it in my port.
  9. Naw your thread is worthless but thanks for the bump. I have no thread? O_o
  10. Only if you REALLY want.
  11. Drive on down to LA and I'll hook you up.
  12. As would I Jude!
  13. That's what I said.... or the option for 6 15"s like my next build...
  14. That's not really enough power for XL's. We got an RF T2K on two XL 15"s and they eat it up.
  15. Won't happen new, maybe a used amp. You need at least 3,000rms to get them going real good.
  16. I'd dare say one day you will want a subwoofer of some sort, so why not spend the little extra for the thicker wire now so you won't have to later.
  17. I've been getting loud and popular here.
  18. Real question is, what's your budget?
  19. 1. You need Power Wire with fuse, Ground wire, RCA's, Remote wire, and speaker wire. I would buy an amp kit personally. Look into Kicker or Memphis they usually have EVERYTHING you need all in one package. Here is everything you need. Link to Kicker 4awg Kit. 2. I don't know what he means either, he's getting senile in his old age. 3. You can only run active if you have an active capable radio or amp. With this being your first install I would just go for a passive system, to the average ear it won't be a bit of difference. And I would just run the Bravox in the front and call it a day.
  20. Make sure to watch in HD!
  21. Nothing. It's quiet.
  22. Both of these are untrue. They are not made for fart boxes in the least, they are just cheaper form of DD. And as long as the box is correct, the AQ's can get just as low as the DC's in every way. And I would dare say if you got the Aluminum coil AQ's, they would take much more abuse then the DC Lv4s would. Edit: My typing fail.
  23. Alarm ASAP. Get the two way paging kind, that way you can be out of sight of the van but still know what's going on. I got one on my van, it's the best thing I ever did. lol I feel much better with it.
  24. We have some plans for the sound system and as you said we hope it will be able to keep up, if not we can roll down the windows and listen to the engine!! I like this statement.
