  1. get a bigger alternator or turn the gain knob down. i think two 0 gauge wires is a little overkill, but thats just me. i would keep the 4 gauge going to the JL and go 0 gauge on the sub amp, because 300w off a 4 guage is more than enough...Plus its cheaper

    !
  3. well, for now, since it seems that the isolator seems to be the problem, just remove it and piggyback the yellowtop with the stock. don't bump TOO hard and you will be fine. just make sure to watch the voltage, because a non-starting car isnt fun.
  4. hmmm have you tried replacing the isolator? have the guys at car toys switch for another isolator
  5. i think i know whats going on...you said when you disconnect the fosgate amp, the jl suddenly works right? when you take the RF off it takes a lot of load off of your electrical system, therefore giving your JL amp more and sufficient voltage. oh i think hes asking about power and ground wire gauge.
  6. what what do? welcome
  7. that right there could be your problem...thems amps werent made for 10v. gechur voltage up by either lowering the wattage or doin something to your lectrical. how big is your alternator?
  8. without the car, there would be no use for the ICONS....
  9. hey kyle, might wanna try something new...since you sell hte RL-p at your store, you probably have some experience with it. how would you compare the SD12 with it? i have 500w on tap, and i think something that fits my power range more might perform better than the rl-p. also what are the box specs? can't seem to find them.
  10. i just recently picked up a 500gb maxtor...loud as heck.

  19. well in general, at 8 ohms just half the rating it does at 4 ohms. thats the closest guestimate i can give you. i dont have any benched specs. at 6 ohms quarter it? not too sure about that one.
