wierdness...when i had a 22, it only got hot when i ran it at 2 ohms...but i installed my friends car with a single RE SR10, it gets hot. dunno. maybe we have our sr's wired wrong lol

ill answer your question here mad. the 1050w rating is the CEA rating, but it will do 1200w

the md23 is a good 2 channel amp. its solid, can take 2 ohms bridged but i dont reccomend it. compared to the AX line, erm its a step down of course but its good for the money, but expect its rated power. if it does more, cool.

the 2000d will only put out around 800w but with the upgrades, i think it will put out more around 1000w. not too sure tho. but the MD1d WILL put out 1200w and can be dropped to .5 ohm and can take more abused but i dont really reccommend that.

thanks man, but this is the story with ike. they ARE an authorized usamps dealer, but AFAIK, B&M only. i dunno about the authorized online part. the reason why the merlins are so cheap is that USAMPS is clearing out the 05-06 model of Merlins. because of the new redesigned ones. I would get in on the fun, and have them up in the SSA store but they are asking for a buy-in and i can't afford that lol.

completely utterly totally agree with this. the BEST sub for the money. soundquality isnt too shabby either. my 2nd sub.

the reason for the price increase of the XT2000D and the 4000D was because of the increase output. as for the rest, the merlins are more expensive because of the complete makeover. the AX line seems like about the same price, as for the RE series, not sure about that.

nooo no 1ohm stable. you can run it at 2 ohms daily and it will hold up. but again i wouldnt reccomend it
