Beef Jerky
Holy christ ... I haven't bought any beef jerky for a long time. $8, $12, $15 bucks for a small freakin' bag? chit ain't cheap. And yes, this warrants a seperate thread. Because it's off topic. And, because I'm not happy about this at all. Not one bit.

The tux doesn't match anything at all ... it's terrible. He failed miserably with the longer style coat. That type of collar doesn't work with a pinstripe tie, either. Don't think for a second anything matches the pinstipe cuffs, either ... nothing works with that tux at all. / poor fashion rant. If you're wearing a tux, wear it properly. Sheesh. From what I've heard, she does his makeup. Let's just stop in the middle of the street and fix eachothers makeup ... for christs sake.

- battery isolator question
x2. And every time I hear the word 'isolator' I think of Mad Mike saying "We put a dual battery isolator on there so his little alternator can charge both of these big batteries back here." :puke:- Crossover Mounting
Hmmm ... there's an idea. That could look cool- Misc. pics...
That reminds me ... I need to get in contact with GoDashMat. Nice couch, dog, iPod, head unit, amp, and sub The Memphis is sure tucked in there nicely.- Crossover Mounting
I changed up the design on my towers, so I don't have a place to mount / hide the crossovers. The initial design called for them to be placed inside of the cabinets ... in the upper section with the 5.25's and tweets. However, I scrapped that idea to gain more internal volume and pushed the 'back' all the way back so it's flush with the back of the bottom section (think of one solid back ... mind you, I'm sure you've seen the pictures, so no need for me to explain it). Anyway. I need to mount the crossover components on something. I'm not all for a piece of cardboard duct taped to the top or rear. I was thinking of mounting the completed piece to the top each tower, whether it be with little rubber feet or just sitting on top. Each piece must be 8 3/8" x 14" to fit on the top. Three materials have come to mind. Tile, linoleum, and glass. Now, with glass ... I'd use four little rubber 'feet' and place them in each corner of the top to prevent the glass from sliding around + it wouldn't vibrate. However, I'd be limited to only using hot glue to mount the components. Can't use wire ties, as I don't have the patience to drill all of those bloody holes in the glass ... I'd have to check and see if the glass place would do it for a minimal fee. I don't have the components yet as they're in the mail. So who knows if they'll all even fit in the given area - I might have to scrap the top mount idea entirely. If they don't fit, cardboard and duct taped to the back = what'll happen. Suggestions for mounting material please- Just met Mike. Great guy!
Right on. Mike's a beauty.- Welcome to the IHoP
Glad you are liking the Memphis so far- Welcome to the IHoP

Love the pink band aids ... Take care of that cut - shoes + patience with anything shop related = 4x8 sheets of anything over 1/2", especially multiple sheets, falling = chitty.- The Stereo Integrity Cobra.
Thanks - I'll have to try it out in the truck later on- Ohio Guys ...
x2 - and they might even have something out of your price range there priced so well that you couldn't pass it up.- Ohio Guys ...
Are you building the Dr. K MTM's? I took Vince's VHT design and modified it a little bit for aesthetics and internal volume - I've got a thread in the 'Show Off' section here. Should have them done, oh, I'd say ... ealy/mid July.- Ohio Guys ...
I'll be using (4) of those Daytons in my towers- The Stereo Integrity Cobra.
chit, they even sound clear in the videos. What's the song in the first vid? Know the other two = Dire Straits.- Welcome to the IHoP
I'd never get the Accord for that exact reason. Was just my observation. It's neat to get pulled back in your seat accelerating from 40mph to 75mph in a 4 door family car under $30, 000.- Welcome to the IHoP
I can obviously feel, see, hear, and smell a difference between the C55AMG and the V6 Accord. $25, 000 extra is a huge amount to fork over when I had fun driving the Accord. The MB is still right on top of fun to drive, but I got a similar feeling in the Accord, that's all.- The Stereo Integrity Cobra.
You'll find a place. I still can't get over how large those things really are.- Welcome to the IHoP
You all know I was looking into a new car, and was pretty set on a luxury / 4 door / cruiser. Today I drove a 6spd V6 Accord ... and to be completely honest, I'm really starting to wonder if all of these other vehicles I'm looking at are really worth that extra $10 - $20K. - battery isolator question
