Welcome to the IHoP
Just got it, thanks Nick. The mail - can't do it in Canada since it's an American MO, so I'll have to run down to the US and find a Post Office somewhere. The mail wasn't necessary, but thanks though - just goes to show that there are a few half decent people in the world

That's a very nice toy. I would like to try a pair of 8W7's myself. You going to play with it and re-sell it and make a profit? I like the Mag basket

I think you should be fine. If not, it would take your five minutes to rig up a couple fans with that style amp rack.

Relays (Multiple Amplifiers)
Ran both off of the single line from the head unit with one .5 amp inline fuse. Works great Frickin' loud, though.

I'd call it cute, but I'm afraid that the surround would engulf me.

Welcome to the IHoP
7 minute drive to the closest gas station across the border for me That includes the drive to the border ... It's definitely worth it. The arseho who runs the place tried to jack the prices up only for Canadians, until he realized he was actually making money because his store is in the middle of nowhere and people were actually buying gas from him. I'm convinced the premium gas down there is better than the premium gas up here - even though the same bloody truck probably delivered to both places

Relays (Multiple Amplifiers)
So that's a yes for a .5 on each run?

Welcome to the IHoP
11:00 ... nice ... Get to drive home and suck back half a tank of gas while I'm at it.
-
Welcome to the IHoP
Perhaps. It'll probably be spent on gas before I even get the money. Goddamn gas prices.

10:53PM. At work. A 17 hour day. With the wife out of town for a couple days, why not rack in the overtime.

Relays (Multiple Amplifiers)
If I'm going to have two runs coming off of that main REM wire, should I fuse both lines or just the main one before it splits?
-
Relays (Multiple Amplifiers)
Or I could always do it your way and not have to drive somewhere to get fuseholders and fuses Which is probably what I'll do unless someone highly suggests I do it another way. I think the smallest fuse you can get here is 0.5 amp (the glass ones) ... so I might just run two wires and fuse both of them.

Relays (Multiple Amplifiers)
Yay ... one's in the trunk, one's under the front seat
-
Relays (Multiple Amplifiers)
That's always nice to hear. I've always used the SoundDomain relays in the past, and didn't want to find out the hard way that the REM wire doesn't like two amps hooked up to it. Should I fuse both runs or take any precautions?
-
Relays (Multiple Amplifiers)
I know you're not supposed to run more than one REM wire from the single one off of the head unit, but I'm kind of (read: really, really) crunched for time at the moment - it would just be a small component amp and the subwoofer amp.
