  1. Not sure that I want FWD again. We did look at a Maxima SL. While I cannot really see myself buying one, I will be taking it for a drive just to see how it feels for comparison. I didn't mind the interior, but the exterior was a little plain. Picky, I know. I didn't mind the interior of the Altima, but I don't think I could sit in those seats for six hours.
  2. And before I even hear about it ... 1200 km = 745 mile
  3. Purpose: To purchase a vehicle 1-3 years old so I'm not the one who has to swallow the bulk of the depreciation; to purchase a vehicle that is comfortable for monthly (at minimum) 1200 km trips on the highway (through lots of snow in the winter). Narrowed it down to: Cadillac CTS w/ 3.6L Dodge Charger R/T w/ 5.7L Both rated similarly in terms of gas mileage and I would make use of the MDS on the Dodge. Love the comfort of the Cadillac but the interior is a little plain. The Charger makes me feel a little younger and the extra 100hp is attractive, albeit fuel consuming. Tough choice. Thoughts, opinions, experiences? Would love to hear what you guys have to say - especially if you have heard or experienced any problems.
  4. The Charger is only 79 lbs lighter @ 4100 lbs.
  5. no SRT? Looked at one today as well and loved it. I don't think I could swing it gas mileage wise. Any opinion on the R/T or 300? I don't know the difference. I assume the R/T has the 5.7 Hemi which has proven itself to be fine, can't say anything about the rest of the car. Yes, the R/T has the 5.7L. With the way I drive I would be able to really utilize the MDS. First tank of gas, though ... would go pretty quick

  7. Looked at the Charger and 300 today. Now it's Charger R/T vs. CTS vs. 300. Loved the seats in the 300 but undecided regarding the dash. Also undecided about the Charger's rather plain interior and how the R/T doesn't get anything upgraded from the SXT ... at least from what I was told.
  8. I don't know anything about picture taking.
  9. Bitches ain't nuthin' but hoes and tricks.
  10. Charger R/T is rated for 17/25 mpg IIRC. The CTS does not do much better on the highway, and should be pretty close in town. Going to check out the Charger after work today - would need to find aftermarket gauge faces as I cannot stand the white.
  11. I am interested in this - will definitely be watching how you work this out! Sounds like a great plan so far.
  12. 2007 Charger R/T vs. 2005 CTS 3.6L The more the look the more I like. Not good.
  13. I was so fed up with the idiots at work that I was home by 4:00PM. That usually never happens. I still have to go back from 7-9:30 tonight to give an exam.
  14. If you do, you better contact me. I drive by JH everyday for work. If it happens I will let you know!
  15. All the gun laws I've seen don't take to kindly to highly modified competition guns, and I see that .32's are illegal except of a list of competition guns (I can't find the list) but I'll guarantee they don't have all on there. They sure don't. From what I can remember, you'd need to get your Authorization to Transport (ATT) and Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL). 16. Might be giving a lecture for the School of Medicine at Johns Hopkins. Sure hope that goes through.
  17. Maybe you are talking about the limits on modifications you can make ... in that case, I fully understand.
  18. To many gun control laws for me to go there. What did you need outside of the laws? Might be able to register some of yours as 'for sporting use' up here ... I'm not sure how that works, though.
  19. Posting on here instead of grading exams
  20. Stuck with WMP radio at work right now.
  21. Going to be another late night.
  22. Back to work tonight for a bit. Lame.
  23. Maybe even the Acura TL.
  24. I wonder if it is worth even looking at the Charger RT or SRT8. I hate the white gauge faces.
  25. I never had a class before 8AM ... and even then, I only had one throughout my many years of post-secondary. Biomechanical modelling and instrumentation analysis was the course. Classes don't even begin until 8AM here.
