  1. Sorry for the massive pics. Deal with it. Stock deck: Alpine CDA-9813: Kicks with trim rings mounted: Kicks ... fleeced style: Resined kicks: Driver side before: Driver side after: Passenger side before: Passenger side after: Painting in progress: My makeshift paint booth (hey, it was windy): Resin smells. Bondo is the biggest pain in the ass ever ... so I quit, sanded half assed, and painted - so yes, there's flaws right now. But I'll make them perfect eventually. Ignore the wires, they're hidden now. CL-61's if you're wondering. Make sure to use enough resin to soak ALL the way through the fleece ... it takes a LOT to do this. Hmmm what else ... oh, the 1503B trim kit from Scosche is the worst kit out there to work with. Had to cut it out so my deck would fit, cut the EQ spot out, then had to modify the factory trim ring to fit. More work than what it was worth, but it looks fine. Oh, almost forgot. Tom's truck --- 3" of lift, 33's, nicest sounding exhaust I've heard on a Silverado (it's a '95, and the exhaust is Flowmaster), practical for daily driving yet can tackle the off road scene out here. - Steve
  2. Bigger they get, the more expensive. Electronic computer controlled machines, whether it be for metal or wood work, assembly, whatever ... they're freakin' expensive. - Steve
  3. I...I...hope not :ugh: Welcome Mark. - Steve
  4. Haha ... I like that. Looks awesome I think it looks pretty good in my sig too. Oooo it's even clickable - Steve
  5. That's ghey ... stupid ImageStation. If I ever find how to log into my SIN site I can put them there for much easier access. Since the board update I can't find it - Steve
  6. Awesome man. Know I've been recommending you ever since day one Oh, and we've got an electronic router here. Coolest little tool ever. - Steve

Not mine, but a friends. We just put the 3" lift on with 33's. Practical for daily driving, while still being able to do the off roading here. Flowmaster exhaust is perhaps the loudest/best sounding I've ever heard on the 88-98 style trucks. Only two pics for now. Full picture session after we get the toggle switch for the neons up and running as well as a nice off roading session. Oh yeah, and the simple Pioneer ... - Steve
  8. Could be a wiring problem ... improper wire gauge or something stupid like that. Who knows. - Steve
  9. Sooooooooooooo any other thoughts / opinions ... Haha ... I laugh @ the Iron Chef ... SQUEEEZONNN - Steve
  10. So I take it that idea would work then. Cig lighter wires would have been easier, oh well. - Steve
  11. Just want to wire a friends two under-dash neon's and one under the back seat to a single toggle switch mounted on the dash. Battery ---> power wire (16ga) ---> inline fuse (5amp) ---> more power wire ---> 12v power on switch Acc on on switch ---> neon x3 (splicing all together to run off the single switch) Ground switch and tube. Right? Wrong? Your feet smell? Perhaps just using the cigarette lighter in the car. Cut the wires off the back of the lighter in the dash, cut the DC adapter off of the neon, wires from lighter into switch ... ? Probably the easiest way if it works ... Thoughts and opinions. Going for simplicity. - Steve
  12. Welcome to the board. Like the install. - Steve

  14. Welcome fellow fullsizer Be glad to throw sparks at a show sometime alongside you So in other words, I do like it - Steve
  15. I see your points. Valid. I still think more people need to listen to them and form an opinion . I sure as heck liked them. Would I run them ? Of course. Does their price reflect what I heard ? Well, it's opinionated of course. Put it this way ... if I could find them for less than the price tag we all see, I'd think hard about getting them - if that makes any sense :ugh: - Steve
  16. Thanks guys ... really helped out a lot - Steve
  17. One of the main reasons no one talks about them is because not a lot of people own them. One of the main reasons few people own them is because they aren't advertised a lot, nor do people suggest them on message boards. I bet if 100 people bought them, liked them, and hit up message boards and started suggesting them ... sales would steadily increase. - Steve
