  1. Shorts, most definitely
  2. Boxer briefs. Great under dress pants
  3. You get guys who get rear ended in a 30km/h school zone or in a grocery store parking lot and claim whiplash. They go to the doctor, bullshit through all of it ... get their neck brace, etc. I pull their x-rays and take a look, do my own exam, and know right then and there it is bullshit. We had one guy walk in, perfectly normal I might add, sits down in my office ... "Hi, I'm Steve. I'll be determining whether or not you actually have whiplash and these other related claims from your motor vehicle accident." Turns out he "left" his foam neck brace and cane in his car outside, which he drove down with a doctors note saying he shouldn't be driving, yet just walked up fifteen stairs to my office with no problems. Idiots. No snooze button. I don't even have to set the alarm. I'm up and at it every morning. He's adopted ... so no, not at all I like to think he somehow has my genetics though ... pound for pound he's stronger than myself already. Not that big, but still cut.
  4. Never too old. It is a hobby, I'll never outgrow it. I think we evolve as we get older though. Pretty sure the majority of the guys started off loud, now more into things sounding good (you've got your exceptions though - the younger guys on this message board seem to be SQ guys as well, which is a nice change). Naturally, a lot of us still manage to run 1500+ watt stereos ... for those times where we just need to feel it I'd like to see SSA right here in three years. It would be really neat if one year we could have a big meet or two on the coasts ... planned in advance for those that need to travel. We're in good shape right now with the core member base we have - doesn't get much better than the guys we have here.
  5. The local one ... sure ... it's tiny Big city phonebook, never.
  6. I love flipping my glove over, getting down on my knees, and blocking the curveball in the dirt.
  7. Yes ... without a doubt.
  8. x2 ... have buckets and buckets and buckets here.
  9. Maybe one day ... I have other things to take care of first. I like it red though. I own a couple handguns - all legally, of course. Stress relief. A lot of Canadians think that Americans are pricks. I know a TON of Americans ... hell, even lived down there, and I got along absolutely fine. But as soon as you get a group of the "wrong crowd" come across the line either way ... that's when stuff starts getting thrown around. Motivation, dedication. I want to be the biggest and strongest I can possibly be. The drive is unbelievable. Just thinking about going to the gym and putting up weight makes the veins pop. I have a whole bunch of various quotes pinned up around the basement that keep me going as well.
  10. It sure would. However, I'm not up for running headers out through the fenders
  11. Anyone who walks around thinking they're the show just because they make $200K a year. Or anyone who automatically assumes I'm on steroids.
  12. I totally skipped over your original post. I have a list of stuff coming up for you. I would like to deal with the suspension. Traction just isn't there. Corner carving could be a little tighter as well.
  13. Asics, Nike. Always striving for perfection and never getting there. Having to build stereos that sound good to the judges ears but don't sound all that great to you. The guy who takes the cheerleader home after the game. Err ... center or left wing.
  14. 12498793 ZZ572/620 Deluxe Crate Engine
  15. LOL @ that avatar - I have them turned off and didn't see that ... freakin' hilarious
  16. Yeah, not going to happen. That's just a disease
  17. Yeah, woodworking is great. What! I'll have to see what I can do Not really - I'm ten minutes from the border and two hours from a major city, so I'm pretty much covered - thanks for the offe though, means a lot. Shampoo. Biolage Matrix stuff. I don't mess around
  18. Yes. The bandana says it all.
  19. Hmmm I can't keep it to ten ... ACDC, BTO, Def Leppard, Doobie Brothers, The Who, Tom Petty, Snow Patrol, Tupac, Saigon, Cunninglynguists, Rascal Flatts, etc. I've been listening to a lot of random music lately, various artists ... no more than a couple songs by a group. Have gotten into more of the slower/chill rock ... a must for work, decent for driving once in a while.
  20. Yep ... work related, vehicular claims, etc. You say your neck is sore because you got rear ended, I look at you, call horseshit, and you get nothing other than your vehicle fixed.
  21. There's a pic in the ugly mugs thread somewhere. I'm a sucker for chocolate ... don't eat it at all anymore though. I'll say jujubes or nacho cheese flavored Doritos chips. I refuse to drink the fancy ass beer the lawyers at work buy and drink. Fancy ass labels, boxes ... little bows and shit. Whatever is on sale as long as I recognize the name. No drinking during training though Hockey, baseball, golf, I'll play the odd game on PS2, I love driving, hiking is great, spending time with the family whenever I can, yardwork and landscaping, big into fine woodworking (pens, bowls, coffee tables, other furniture), etc. I like to keep busy.
  22. Always loved dealing with athletics. From nutrition to injuries to training. Designing training routines, being able to deal with and tend to injuries, and knowing the science behind how things work and how your body deals with food and injuries has always intrested me. Injuries kept me from performing to the best of my ability, so I'll do everything I can to ensure guys are properly trained and injuries properly cared for.
  23. I've been lifting on and off for roughly 11 years. Started at ~ 17, got pretty serious with my diet and routines all through university. Kind of slacked off after that trying to get the family and work life going, you know how it goes. I'm huge into weightlifting again now ... don't know if you'd call it bodybuilding or not, but I'd be somewhere right in the middle. I'm not the strongest guy at my gym - the guy I train with is a powerlifter. 'nuff said. I'm a firm believer in max numbers meaning nothing, so I'll just post up my chest / tri routine I did today as I have my log book sitting next to me right now. Incline Bench Press Set 1 - 8 x 205 Set 2 - 6 x 255 Set 3 - 4 x 275 Decline Bench Press Set 1 - 8 x 245 Set 2 - 6 x 285 Set 3 - 4 x 295 Flat Bench Dumbbell Bench Press Set 1 - 8 x 95 Set 2 - 6 x 110 Set 3 - 4 x 115 Weighted Dips Set 1 - 8 x 90 Set 2 - 8 x 90 Set 3 - 6 x 90 Close Grip Bench Press Set 1 - 6 x 185 Set 2 - 6 x 205 Set 3 - 4 x 225 Cable Press Down (Straight Bar) Set 1 - 10 x stack Set 2 - 8 x stack + 10 Set 3 - 6 x stack + 25 Reverse Grip Cable Press Down (Straight Bar) Set 1 - 8 x stack Set 2 - 8 x stack + 10 Set 3 - 6 x stack + 25
  24. That's a long list. You remember the '81 Z28 and Talon I sold as a pair a while back. I'll get back to you on that one ... I have a photo album I have to dig out and perhaps even send you a couple. The IROC is my favorite. I do love driving newer vehicles, but there is just something about cruising with the top down and being able to stomp on the gas and get firmly planted in the seat. Trouble with the law ... none. I'm a good boy, honestly.
  25. Super stealth
