shwate, i tore my rotary cup i think, between wakeboarding after a 4month off season and doing reps with 135 when my arm kept telling me "no, not today you dumb fudge" i cant lift my arm past straight out with out shearing pain... so i dunno when i will even be able to get it installed, no rush... yeah and i understand. and before someone jumps out at me, DD's can sound good, but you can stil ltell they are geared for SPL/Loudness, especially in the 3500 series up.

i'd give it a bit more to Product...even with some seriosuly chitty box with leaks and no bracing a driver like new (or old) XXX with propwer power and electrical system will almost always outwang any pyle driver in any box with pyle amps and electrical system doesnt matter because a pyle amp will never draw enough current to hurt almost any electrical system... and that is what i ment about the SoloX... not SPL, Not SQL, Not SQ...it is what you want it to be. Where as most of DD's drivers, the MT, and from what ive heard about the DP... they lack musical clarity and are very peaking with their responce, even in enclosrues that are geared for "SQ"

its here, im desiding on what i want to do with my EQ, buy the dash kit for it and have a ugly black 1/2DIN space under the deck and EQ... OR have the Deck with a pocket and hide the EQ in the glove compartment. Im leaning towards the glove compartment because when im showing my system to people they will undoubtably crank it up full blast, a little clipping on the HU wont hurt much because i set my gains conservatively except for SPL but if some idiot sees and EQ and is like "Hey, i know how to use this" and suddenly the amp is trying to produce an extra 12dB centered at 30Hz....the amp and the 18 (and me soon afterwards) will not be happy at all.

Sure you didnt just max out the meter? i have a radio shack meter and it maxes out at 129.x and is extremely inacurate and can only 1/2 measure acuratly below 100Hz in C weighting. ever seen a real anecho responce graph this spikey?

all i can say is SX's are deffanitly awsoem street beaters. I havent heard the new l7's but the i would choose the SX over the old l7's any day. But because i havent heard the 06 line take my opinion as a gain of salt. Have you looked into RE's new MX series? sapposed to be louder than the current SX with better SQ as well. ive yet to hear a 3rd party review but david says they are closely ocmpeditive with the old XXX's in SQ only louder

You'll never get a square cone to reach the maximum potential of a round cone in SQ. However down low low it doesnt make much of a difference as long as there is no mechanical noise. However a new XXX 18 would deffanitly give a solo X 18 a run for its money...a really big run for its money...if not win its money. and then you have 96mm of travle to watch

my uncle is 65 and he's been runing it since he was 20. he was getting old and ready to retire. He got a cool 1.2million for the farm, a guarontee the mexicans that have worked there for 10 years would keep their jobs and use of the unused land as he wishes. Of course half of that 1.2 million went to a nice house right by the land. the rest, bank, oh and a really nice RV. Tons of fishing stuff too. Anyway. We have a family reunion down there this weekend so ill get a picture of the sign the state put up on the farm for running it for so long.
