  1. in that case, ill try agian with my idea, different fonts/logos.
  2. Paul Yen dont equal USD's
  3. Well if it replaces the type ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR it can't be that bad. LOL. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> One can only hope <{POST_SNAPBACK}> x2
  4. Boney asses hurt.
  5. Before coils I had the option of double and tripple stack, 3 different back plates, pole and pole vent options, about 16 different spider configurations, and then I asked about coils. I can get it in everything from quad 4 to quad one to single 4. I wanted dual 1.4 or 1.6 but he said the coil winders where lagging on thoes. Anyway, it looks like a great company and I wish them the best of luck. However I agree, I thought I was a bad speculator and ASSumer at times...they pretty much shat out the RE bandwagon...slept on it a night or two, then had Fi Bandwagon for breakfast. It has just entered the system, no telling how bad it will get. Give one person one 15 doing mid-high 140's with low 30's tuning at that price and it will be going for months, years, decades.
  6. Im going to roll down to the Flemming man himself and have a listen one of these days. I was going to go with Fi but the number of options had my head spinning and I'd rather go with another driver that is proven... Ordering it Friday...enclosure might get started this weekend.
  7. IM doing a single port for length issues...and possibly output gains. 4 4" ports would be mucho long with 30Hz tuning in a smaller box.
  8. There you go. CRX FTW.
  9. i've seen something similar : port made out of mdf rings... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not exactly what i was talking about but that is a pretty nifty idea.
  10. Decware forum pisses me off. They tell me power cords will make a system sound better.
  11. Because the horn isnt what gives it bass, the 4th order configuration does. The horn allows it to extend up to 5,000Hz assumeing you have adequite drivers. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i don't think so... then the horn would be useless. if you simulate the wo as a 4th order bp, you get a very bad efficiency. which is not true. the wo can be modified to be used as a center channel. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Exactly. The 4th order gives it the low end, the horn amplifies the output (boosting efficency) up to 5,000 Hz assumeing you have drivers that can run that wide of a frequincy band. That is just my geuss, im not sure on that.
  12. I am thinking about making several steps with MDF rings and then takking filler and running that around on the inside. Then pringing out the desired flare, transfering that to MDF and then putting a dowle rod in the mdf, hooking that up to a jig to keep it centered and rotating on a perpendicular axsis and just scoup the filler around in there untill i get the desired look. When it cures i will sand the hell out of it then take a negative mold of it with fiberglass. Transfer the Negative mold to an MDF Jig, sand, fill, and wax it. I then make a positive mold and that is my port end. SO MUCH FIBERGLASS!
  13. I could tell you how I made mine , but then I would have to kill you <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wish I had a routerand jig, it would make it a lot easier.
  14. No, not bass horns in general dont work. But the size of the horns in the Wicked one arent of substantial size to have any affect on the bass. Bass horns have to be massive to have any affect on output . But I know you know that.
  15. Im getting the MDF mold for mold ready today. I am contemplating how I want to do this, last mold came out odd shapped.
  16. Basically its a lopsided 4th order bandpass.
  17. Because the horn isnt what gives it bass, the 4th order configuration does. The horn allows it to extend up to 5,000Hz assumeing you have adequite drivers.
  18. Not even bringing up trying to run a good VGA card also...
  19. Not even bringing up the type of power supply you would need to run that, a CD, Hard drive, and motherboard all at the same time.
  20. Reading through that overclocking link Kickin posted there is no way in hell you can cool 474w comming from a tiny little pentium 4. That is almost as much heat as what thoes little 29cc engines for weed wackers produce.
