Im far from perfect, basically it was a discussion about overheating CPU's. I simply stated that i have seen crappy heat sink installs where not enough thermal greese was applied. He came back saying yo udont need much. I said i know, im talking abot applying the proper ammount. He came back saying that i just *have* to win the argument. I said it is what i have seen fix overheating problems before. He came back and attacked me as if i didnt know p4's where notorious for overhearing (i had stated that though i woudnt think a p4 would need it, watercooling is an option) and basically called me a stupid little chit (in a nicer way). I told him derkader, read what i said in context. He got mad and i geuss he banned me. i got a week on banlandia but i may just stop going there and leave the car audio section to die with only Manny 18, Paul D, and occasionally Noah (ngsm13) to help out the many n00bx's that roll through there. or i may go out with a bang and put a thread in the certian moderato's forum stating all of the rules and conditions for banning and how i didnt violate any of them except for the "repeated attackings" which it wasnt repeated...it was a one time thing if saying "derkader, read in context" is really an "attack" wih bannage grounds. Then i will get permanetly banned for not learning from past bannages and AF will go on to rot in hell. Either way i geuss i could have left it alone but he was reguarded as the computer knowledge god and when he tried to make himself look good with out being correct my hot headed (and often argumentative self) decided to put him in his place. Reguardless, SSA FTW.

LMAO i got the ban stick on AF.com because a certian moderator there was on a power trip and challenged my experence in the comptuer world. Oh well, their loss. I was an actively contributing member to the audio and engineering/technical forum. They need a moderation staff like here on SSA.

a good (read DECENT) pair of horns can be had for say $150 if you look. A good pair of 8's for midbass should run you less than $150. an un EQ's horn will probably sound better than thoes audiobahns too then later you can get a nice 21 band EQ or something and get your truck sounding good AND loud.

However looking at your current and comming line up your only 18 is way out of the linear displacement/powerhandleing range of the Avalanche. Build me a custom LMS-4000 18 to test?

If you send me something with LMS compareable to my avalanche 18 i am more than willing to test it to anyones criteria. I have acess to a Term Lab and room for up to 7cuft ported though i would probably seal them to the same Q for sound quality comparison.

Damn, Lowes has BB right now for $32 in 3/4. Oak was $31, and my two sheets of oversized MDF were a total of $21.97 today. I bought this AWESOME Freud finishing blade for the saw. This thing slices through 3/4" MDF like it's styrofoam and leaves the prettiest edge. I've never seen a better edge or used a nicer blade. 40T titanium tipped carbide with some very nice cooling fins and it's only 1/16" thick. To top that off, it was only $20. Went to Harbor freight to buy some brads, and they had a combination nailer/stapler on sale for $20. Picked that up cuz my Bostitch can only handle 1-5/8" brads max, while this cheapo can go up to 2", and as luck would have it, the ram in my Bostitch broke on me, so I had to use the new one. It never works like that. Irony. . . <{POST_SNAPBACK}> you buy me wood and send it to me, ok? BB (the real stuff, not fake lowes stuff) is $48 a sheet at the local lumber store. MDF is $23 a sheet at lowes and they are the only ones that cary it outside of the home depot 40miles away.
