  4. Got another box to build. im making almost as much money on the side as my job for $8/hr at least with my job income is steady and sure.
  5. i would atribute it to large, flat panels of steel unbraced and the least acoustic friendly shape in the world.
  6. 4 RE 8's and a 500/1 where wangtastic in a truck just 3 years younger than that. The bass was overpowering the mids/highs so 2 Rl-i's should be great. aparently 2 3" ports wasnt enough area beause there waws a bit of port noice but it was harly noticable over the bass.
  7. Since soon I will be installing a new sub in my truck (if i can ever get in contact with nick at IA) so while i have the 180lb behemoth out of my truck i figured I'd slap the leftover second skin somewhere. Im looking for the most quiet and the most potential SPL gain. My doors have 1 layre on the door skin and 1 1/2 on the door (didnt botehr putting a second layre over the window acess gap incase i ever need to acess the window) I have 2 on the back wall and that helped a LOT. It went from slapping my bedliner to maybe 1/2" of movement full tilt. I feel much more comfertable upping my SPL now that my back window isnt dancing...as much. The floor and firewall would probably be the next place to start correct? Or would the headliner be better? If i do the headliner i will also lay some overkill in up there.
  8. that is a cool pic, that is a sweet ass instalation. I have some second skin left over, ive been debating on wether to use it on the foor or the roof. anyway, secondskin FTW still, boobies

  13. ok so you're not giving away a 4hp but are you giving away a 3hp? why is the TC9 platform so compareable to other high end drivers from other companies that have no better motor platform yet you still have 2 or 3 steps above it?
  14. shwate... you got any leftover wire you are willing to let go?
  15. bump for like 12 days or something. w/e less than 2 weeks foo!
  16. 1 12 for the guy (he is supplying plans, i offered to make htem but he wants the box in the plans built) 2 10's in my GF's car...noah...geesh. and my 15" basket gets here soon, now if Nick would ever pick up the phone.
