The box is for 4 12'' pioneer premier ts-w3002spl. It will be in a wall config. subs on driver side port on passenger. all thoughts are welcome. 7. I've heard that using wax might help with heat for aluminum not sure if it will help here.
  8. If you can't find it slowed you can use the original and the program Audacity and slow it yourself to any speed.
  9. i know the box set up is ugly but it's the enclosure i had used for my olds aurora its actually 2 boxes put together ...very ugly but work well. Why does everybody hate subs inverted does it actually make a different sound or anything? Do you mean subs up passenger side port back? Everything is as for back as i think they can be without choking off the ports. How much port area do you suggest and what tuning works well in a hb?
  10. thats all the manufacturer recommends and i havent been able to find out anything regarding port area as i thought i needed more, please help if anyone knows how much more would be good.
  11. here's some pics of the setup i'm currently running its not really pretty but its works pretty well. memimage.cardomain.com/ride_images/3/3224/1061/33058030002_large.jpg

  15. i will be running a hifonics xxv cyclops 4000x1 i will be running 3 batts, 2 caps. i'd like to have a daily drivetr that can still lay down high numbers as im nearly the loudest in my area already. i currently have them in a 6cf box ported at 32hz subs firing up port back. im not sure how to get pics on here or id have a few pics to show.
  16. First off managed to pick up a 93 civic hatchback for 700 bucks and I would like to know what type of set up would be best, like port direction, sub direction, box style all opinions welcome as i'm pretty sure someone here would have done something like this already.
  17. By looking up different enclosure ideas and fell upon thus a small gold mind of ideas.
  18. I'am also new here but i did know that my car had a stereo but its definitely not loud enough yet but that's why i'm here. lol I agree your avatar is killer!!

  20. im not too picky as to positioning because right now i have a 14.5 cuft enclosure @29hz where my back seats used to be. as for sound deadening soon and ive never heard of porting to trunk. I was hoping to use the equipment i already have but will change if needed because its all about the bass!!
  21. i dont mind if theres a wall or if they are in the trunk or just in the back seats. i wasn't going to port into the trunk that doesnt really make much sence to me. Idealy i would like to use the equipment i have but if you guys think that a 150 with this stuff isnt possible then ill have to look into new equip.
  22. best i've come up with is 6.6 useable space in trunk. This is what i got from that sealed.
  23. yes batteries are sealed. lots of trunk space but small opening which has continuisly causd me problems.
  24. Power is not so bad, o guage throughout and brand new oem alt 140amp waiting for 300amp i run 5 interstate workaholic batteries (got a good deal). Seats don't fold down and x brace there. Rear deck is wide open. seats are currently out. Wood is very cheap for me get at cost at work. Have never done glass so still leary about that.
