Welcome! Looking forward to seeing your BL, I am looking to purchase a GTI within the next week. Not sure if I am going to get the GTI or the VR6. Wondering if you had any problems with yours or any clutch issues.

I talked to one of the Crescendo guys on the phone earlier today and he said 3 weeks away and at MOST 4weeks. Also there is a preorder, i dont know when it started but will most likely end a couple days prior to them recieving the amps. Ordered my BC3500

Congrats. Still looking at GTI's? either a GTI or the GTI vr6 MK4 any luck finding good ones in this area? yeah found a GTI on 28th street. 10 miles away from me. And then i found a Mk4 in IL which i wouldnt mind driving down there to test drive it.

Well, it is more of a clutch issue with the MR's and the transmission. I know i wouldnt want to deal with a new transmisson after 3500 miles. Mitsubishi only warrenties the clutch for 10k. Yeah mine had quite a bit of work to be done. Somehow one piston was too large and shot pieces into the turbo and started from there.

It was an 8, but i am just mentioning that the 6 speed MRs are known for problems with there clutch.

Only way i would ever get another one is if its an Evo 8 or 9. completely stock, and less than 15k miles. Would not look into the MR models either

Yeah I did but i am just glad i got what its worth. Plus these cars seriously are a ticking time bomb it feels. Scared to drive it anywhere
