  8. sealed enclosure guessing? after just looking at a pic of your engine the alternator looks pretty easy to get to. So it should be relatively easy. just these three steps alternator to positive side on battery engine block to neg and neg to chassis

  10. depends on where your alternator is placed. That can either make it difficult or very easy
  11. mmm..the smell of spring has arrived
  12. I wanted to do that today but there are no courts where I live so I just went to the lake between the Texas Ranger Ballpark and Dallas Cowboys stadium and walk for 2 hours while dribbling the ball. For some reason (probably a mind thing) but I cant workout indoors because it gets real boring after a month or two, I gotta be outside to enjoy nature while exercising. i hear ya, feels much better to be outside
  13. first things first welcome to SSA the Fi Q will be out when they have tinkered with it and are ready to go. the Sundown SAZ 1000D would be a very solid choice to go with. I dont know what your electrical upgrades are but i would suggest the big 3 and a volt meter
  14. I know I do gOOd work, just not very much of it. HA HA, I do take my sweet time though. that's how i am trying to do it too, take my time or else i will have to go back and fix it
  15. its coming along!
  16. trust me, they get bored sitting in my room this is for the alternator to positive on the front bat. 2 runs of 1/0
  17. I would take out what you can (speaker, adapter plate if you dont need and Bose box next to speaker) but I wouldnt remove its factory wiring and the leave the plugs alone. Just my .02 in case you ever want to re install it for whatever reason all you have to do is screw it back in, then plug and play. Just one option, Im sure someone will chime in with another one. x2. I personally would never cut any factory plug! Especially if you plan on selling or trading your vehicle in the future. for the help guys, alright guys i am terrible at keeping things a secret, but i contacted DC power alternators today and i don't know which guy i talked to but he was super informative. It was actually funny because when he told me about the 275 xp alt. he said these were MONSTERS. haha it was funny. I told him about how last spring i ordered a powerbastards alt. he says " let me guess a fitzall 220amp" haha he knew right away. he said he has no words for that company...lol i love it. Anyways tomorrow i am placing an order for one and ready to keep my voltage high!!!
