So The Plexiglass Came Today Super Fast Shipping Except It Was Delayed 3 Hours Because I Accidentaly Put The Wrong Shipping Adress And They Shipped One House Down. But It Finally Made It We Cut The Plexiglass To Size And Drilled Holes And verything And Were Finnally Done. Now Just Waiting On The Amps HEres Some Pics.... Enjoy Let Me Know What Yall Think

Thats A Pretty Recognized Brand. Not As Good As Alpine Or Pioneer Or Anything Like That But There Reliable. I Have 2 10" Pyle Subs That (SAY) There Rated At 1000 Each Which Reality There Not But They Do Sound Good For $20 Id Buy That Head Unit And Check It Out Just Make Sure It Has All The Connections Through The Back So Your Not Dissapointed When You Want To Hook Up A Zillion Speakers.

So Today After School Me And My Brother Went Up To Hobby Lobby To Get Some Flouresent White Paint To Make The Inside Glow With Lights But You Had To Be 18 To Buy The Paint. But We Cut Out The Hole For The Plexiglass And Sanded A Big More Put On Some More Coats Of Paint And Threw In Some Pics For Yall Heres What It Looks Like So Far And What The Light Might Possibly Look Like Any Ideas For What Color ? Blue? Red ? Bright White ?

Hmmmmm Maybe It Needs To Brake In ? I Noticed That My BTL didnt Hit The 60 - 90 Hz As I Hoped Either But It Hits The Lows good

My Guess Is You Have A 15 Or 18" FI Q Whenever I First Got My FI BTL 15" 2 Months Ago I Was Dissapointed But After Realizing I Was Running It With A Hifonics Amp That Said It Was 1000 Watts When Really It Was Around 600. Also I Had It In A Cheap Pre-Fab Box Which Was Killing The Sub A BUNCH. The Amp That You Are Running It With Says Its Pushing 2000 But It Really Puts Out Around 1300. Youll Need Around 1600 Or More To Really Hear The FI Q Come Alive.

Honestly I Think It Might Be Your Amp. Are You Seeing The Excursion On The FI Q Alot ? Would You Say That It Is Getting Enough Power ? The 10", 12" And The 18" Are Rated At 1000 Watts Peak Hifonics Amps Are WAYYYYYY Overated. How Many Fuses Are On The Amp And How Many Amps Are They Each ?

Well i got the front baffle made and i ordered a sheet of 3/4 inch Plexiglas. Sanded the big guy down real good and rounded down all the corners. I painted the inside white but it doesnt glow under the black light like I had originally planned. Guess I'm going to head up to the local hobby lobby and see if they have any florescent paint. Im located in Katy Texas. Do you have some plexiglass? I was thinking of enbeding out a design or something so that the letters will glow when there presented to light. Something like this.....

Will just one layer of Plexiglas glass work? The only one i could find at my home depot was about an 1/8 of an inch thick and I'm concerned it might flex. Do they make it in different thicknesses? -Kent
