  1. I have 2 15" Fi Q's that I'm thinking about having reconed into 18's. They are the old style with bp power, could you guys add the extra spider to it with the recone? And how would I ship them, since I dont have the original boxes? Will they be alright on a SAZ 3000d with the extra spider, and bp power?
  2. Audioque HDC3 (Kicker L7 and Crown don't belong in the same sentance, except for sub with the worst sound quality they got that down pat)
  3. 10s will be the last size to come out -- they are the lowest seller. how much 1 way mm xmax will the 18 be expected to have?
  4. What don't u like about em? Or why would u want the bl's? because the output from 55-65hz is kinda weak compared to other subs (in a 9 cube box tuned to 32hz) dont get my wrong they destroy lows and sound great playing rock
  5. What don't u like about em? Or why would u want the bl's? because the output from 55-65hz is kinda weak compared to other subs (in a 9 cube box tuned to 32hz)
  6. i have q's and i wish i would have got bl's
  7. Have you got metered yet? I'm debating on gettin 2 of these or 6 sundown sa12s when i get back from my upcoming deployment. What are you tuned to?
  8. What have you guys hit on the termlab?
  9. I'm tryin to decide on what kinda battery to get for a 3,000 watt 2 jbl gto 14001's and a JBL 4 Channel
  10. yea im interested in this as well
  11. what are you gonna run for mids and highs?
  12. specs on 09 fi ssd 18
  13. they're rated at 800 rms stock without that flatwound coils
  14. for the trio
  15. Alright I have 3 Fi 10" SSD's with flatwound coils that I want to have changed into 15's. What option's do i need to have pick? do i need to pick basket i take it? and how much power will they handle each could they handle 3000 rms? Since there flatwound do i need to pick that option again or no?
  16. Well subs are in my opinion low's arent as loud as the q's, highs arent as loud as the cvx's but overall seems to be more musical than either one of those two =), For Example, Lil Wyte, Choppa on the Backseat off The one and only, it has 2 sub bass notes alternating with the kickers the higher freq was crazy loud and the low note barely audible with the Q's it was the opposite, with the ssd's neither are as loud but it picks up the low's way better than the kicker's and the highs way better than the q's
  17. yea i was looking at the fisher customs builds and in the 06 mustang he was doing it sub back port to the side, the guys at this local shop claim that it would have cancelation
  18. yea i'm not trying to keep going on with this thread but, you know i don't got alot of money so switching setups all the time is getting expensive, I seen in the fisher customs builds they did subs firing towards the trunk port to the side, of course with 3 10s 34" wide is pretty much minimum if i'm not mistaken which pretty much would make the port only like 1" away from the quarterpanel, subs towards the trunk and port towards the trunk I will have the problem of only like 13" of height so i'd have some really skinny ports lol if i could even do that, I don't know i'm stumped as to how to get this thing loud yet sound good, with my wall it seemed like it was alot louder at first but the port was the only thing bracing it and i can tell the port has gotten tore up cause the box would be flexing like crazy, another thing is i'm debating on what to with my electrical throw a yellowtop in the trunk or what. I'm just kinda annoyed with some of the installers around here because they want to do the old "yea these subs ain't any good blah blah blah brand x would destroy them" maybe i could put i bandpass in there somehow ported through the rear deck or something i don't know
  19. 3 10s Fi SSDs in a 04 mustang off about 1300rms
  20. also im debating on what to go with one installer says subs firing towards the rear deck and aero ports towards the trunk should be louder, but the other one wants to go subs/port facing trunk slot port style but space is tight and im questioning on how hes gonna fit decent size ports in there that way (he says 2 slot ports 1 on top 1 on bottom)
  21. yea that was the website i was talking about, but the box builder says that that is bs and that it can only be wired into a 1.33 ohm load because wired the way the12volt shows ya wont work, and if ya look at the jlaudio wiring diagram it don't show a 3 ohm load only 1.33 and something even lower
  22. Well the 3 10s have arrived will be going into a 3 cubic feet box after the port and displacement tuned to 35hz, anyway the question is can 3 dual 2ohm subs be wired into 3 ohms as stated on a certain volt.com wiring diagram state or is this bull and im stuck with 1.33ohms?question 2 will 3 fi ssd's with flatwind coil handle a saz3000d daily? because i know someone who is selling one for $500
  23. alright well i finally place my order for 3 FI SSD's 10s w/ flatwind option, will be powered by a jbl gto14001 wired at 3 ohms pushing somewhere around 1300 rms. Will 3 ssd's handle a audioque 2200 in a ported box something like 3 cubes after displacement?
  24. well ive decided to get 3 mach 5 ixl 10s but for some reason i cant get the order form to work, and i was wondering what would the wiring options be with 2 amps and 3 dual 1 ohm, or 3 dual 2 ohm like 1 amp wiried to 3 coils and the other amp wiried to 3 coils?
  25. xcons are way outta my price range, I'm pretty much looking at mach 5 ixl 12 ported version vs sundown sa12, from someones experiance which has the higher spl 2.83v 1m?, sounds better, and what handles more power?
