you want it to hit hard at the low end ? , ......SSA!!!! , ICON or XCON , would be perfect , a pair of XCON 15's would be stupid loud , but with only 2000W , it might not be enough to power them well , i would say a pair of ICON's , that would be very good , you won't be unhappy , i promise

yeah very true , but SSA gets low like no other , and not pricy either , at 30hz a pair of ICON 15's would hammer like hell , and still have good SQ , thats what i would do , but i am no expert , happy pounding!

your best bet is to seal with fiberglass compound , it hardens real fast and has no vapors, plus it strengthens the box quite well ,

D-cons all the way ! , i have a single 10 D-con , and i feed it 500W all day , and it handles it just fine , pounds quite well , so yeah , 500W no prob for the D-con , and it drops like a cracked out hooker on a friday night , ( very low ) , , , lol i hope you make the right choice , Happy pounding !

it is worth the shipping , no where in the world can you find a woofer enclosure , that will match one of his babys, my opinion , if you own a sub you are being disrespectfull not to put it in a PTS box , hell yeah !

Ported definetly louder , i have has sealed bandpass and ported , and ported is always the loudest , especially on the low tones , my single 10" D-con , is retarded at like 25hz-35hz , and thats only 500W , i get people turning their head from over 100 feet away , its great , so my opinion is Ported For Life! , i am never going back , happy pounding

O...M....F....G..... i just came back from hearing this monster and holy %&!@ my ears are still bleeding ..... it sounds amazing , and there still not even broken in yet , the entire Van shakes .... you could make milkshakes in the cup holders and mix paint on the roof , LOL it was insane ....very nice .....SSA is by far the best Sub brand out there hats off , thumbs up i will never buy another kind of sub in my life , they are the best now and forever ......i am going to let everybody i know to only buy SSA subs from now on , i am so happy with my DCON , and now i cant wait to get an ICON or XCON or both LOL Keep up the good Work SSA , and Trevor , that install is by far your best ......

i believe the 3000 is rated for 3200 RMS at 4ohm , but it bench tested over 6500 RMS , so yeah like Trevor said , i think they will match up nicely with the 4 Xcons , so they will be getting about 1600 W a piece not bad eh ? the tempo with four ICON 10" s were sick , it would rattle my brains , so i am sure this one will make my eyeballs bleed, he might have to get people to sign a waiver before they sit in the van, ? LOL just sick ........RETARDED !!!!

hands down , go with a Dcon , they can handle 400W no prob , and it hits the low tones enough to shake your guts , LOL i have a single 10" Dcon in my trunk , and people think i am running 2 12's , not bad for a $200 sub , pure SQ , and still very loud , i hit 137DB sealed on dash , not bad for 400W , eh ? go with a DCON , you wont be disapointed i promise
