  1. For me the only reason I've never done the full system Ive always wanted was because of weight. I would also pay more so maybe in limited quantities this would be a good option.
  2. need a recone for my mag viii, now do i send the motor in to Fi and get it sent back or can i prchase a recone and do it myself? and if i could do either or what would a round about price be for either, im in cali. for shipping
  3. wanted to do all sundown with sa-8, but i get cheap ass prices for infinity jbl, pioneer kicker and kenwood. i can order from factory because where i work. i paid 60$ for all four 6.5" kappa. 30 dollars for the 10" and 150$ for the 5 channels all brand new fron the factory. to be honest i don care for comercial produts when u can get better quality for cheaper prices i.e. ssa store. next system i will utilize all jbl products.
  4. an amp on 3.5" coaxials. wow but i think the choice in radio says enough.
  5. love the end results sounds so clear, love the 5 channel amp.
  6. they are classic 5 spoke empi's. the correct OG rims. do research on bugs you will see the rims are the shiet. mine are chromed not polished, which they are wrth more. ill try to post a pix of the car outside with the top down.
  7. 4 speakers, 1 sub and 1 amp all infinity car radio 6.5 infinity coaxial speakers in front kick panels speakers changed to 6.5" kappa speakers (forogt to take picture. stealth radio box box with top on and metal stands will fit 10" infinity sub and kappa coaxial speaker test fit covered in vinyl 5 channel amp final install
  8. its an alpasonik pma 600 by the way, im running it a 2ohms.
  9. they are actually quite nice amps never get hot. traded a five channel for my Mag v3 i had.
  10. front baffle will be 2x3/4 inch mdf
  11. finished box. still need to cut the sub hole out.
  12. start of box... if your wondering i git the dimensions fron dd's wedsite under compact 15" box.
  13. wish i would have bought them the last time around, when they were trying to get rid of them. i could have saved alot of money.
  14. they both would work but 3000k would be over kill on death rows, with a question like that you probably would mess the death rows up with too much gain so just go with the DP's. im assuming it's in your price range considering thats there are an option.
  15. would wait for focal, then if that didn't work pay someone to do a crazy recone that would work and use the motor. my .2 cents
  16. 4 of these would also be great in 15"!
  17. the front speakers are held in with velcroe, so i can remove easy. want to replace with some 6.5 infinites. i want to put a sub and amp combo but first im going to remove the screws in favor of black screws in the front speakers, then redo the back panel with some 6.5 infinities. the reason i use infinities is becaue i work at best buy and in my opinion between pioneer kenwood sony id rather have those as my speakers. after that then under the rear panel with go sub. maybe ssa 8" or proto e8 thats being tested.
  18. paint job is 20 plus years old, rims are 5 spoke empi's, my dad got this car when he was like 20 been a project ever since,we really started to get deep in it in about 1999, thats when we got the rims lowered it narrowed the bem put new interior redid the pans. all originals even have the original block.
