3x40fuses=120amps 120ampsx12.5 volt= no will not do rated power. probably wont even do it @14.4. search for how to do calculations yourself next time.
  4. i have a tomtom 540s but i recently bought a garmin 1460t on my discount for a cheap price. gonna compare the two, i always get garmin returned because they freeze, or just turn off for no reason. none the less i bought because of price and want to try it. plus i get traffic. i like my tomtom because it has four options to find your destination as for the garmin you only have one.
  5. i have a 12" woofer that look exactly like that, it's a power acoustic with a aluminum finish cone. the cone is smaller and the surround is alittle taller and fatter. probably not nearly as good as this BM MK3. i love my M v3 with the claw basket. hit every note i throuh at it.
  6. couldn't get a 2000d even if you wanted it, or at least a new one. i never used american bass before so i cant comment. heres an option there is a sale on the 1000d ($275)get two of them and link them @ 2ohms, then buy 2 z-15 1000wrms ($200)from jacob on sale, also since he only has dual 2ohm you cab easily wire them to 2 ohms. you could do all that for like 50 dollars more than what you were willing to spend on just the amp. now you have amps and subs.
  7. hahaha, barely read this post. who care if i suggested the same twice to two people, it works plus he wanted big, he said size doesn't matter. why not its another three inches. how many people do you see with a 21" sub. hater... clown on wrong information post but not opinions. but your cool.
  8. we all got issues nice to see that im not the only one with that porblem, im not on anything hard but i smoke weed about 3grms a day, provided in i cali. I get it prescribed by a doctor. i cant go more a couple hours without smoking. i go to school and work and maintain a good life but i still spend about 400 dollars a month on that habit alone. i go through shake, and hot flashes and get really cranky if i dont smoke. i love weed but anyone says that it's not addictive to an extent then they are lying. it's only weed but i though id share my story. need to quit or grow more.lol.
  9. sorry been away...for a couple days. just a dmm. what else would i need? what do people use to find the parameters of a apeaker?
  10. i install at bestbuy, first we only carry the p1 and p3 models used to carry the p2 but stopped. the p3 are 200 which is a wast of money. plus when anyone wants a p3 i offer them a pos type r. p3 cones are made of plastic crap and crack all the time under pressure. there amps are sh*t as well at least for the line we carry, i dont mean all RF products just the ones best buy carry. they sell their 1000 watts for 600$ i could get a saz 2000 for that. they are like jl audio now living off their name from the first W6.
  11. get a death penalty 21" (1500 watts)or even the btl and the sundown 1500d. perfect set up you dont need 2000 watts. plus you sound like you would sacrifice quality for money.
  12. if room is no issue, i would go with the IA DP 21" then up grade to a second 1500 later. thats my opinion.
  13. i would do option three which is none of the first two. agree with duran.
  14. peripheral electronics has a great one they have one for GM FORD and IMPORT cars. charges and controls from factory radio.
  15. M5 can you elaborate please? or anyone else.
  16. sundownz has good sale on sundown Z-15 200 shipped i think.
  17. i am buying the drivers first, then building the crossovers, but i also thought about buying premade crossover. now that you said not to buy premade i wont. back to my first questions from up top please? if you could recomend me a low cost woofer and tweeeter in the buy out section, so that i could build enclosure and then xover. doing a 5.1 first build so i dont know what variables to give you.
  18. jfin1204 replied to dub26z's topic in Off Topic
recomend bought a 30 band eq from them.
  19. what gauge wire are you using, PDX only has 4 gauge imputs. not enough current will make the amp sound like that, plus would run anymore than the saz 1500 on stock alternater. thats a 2200d provided your not getting 2200 watts you should be some where around 1200-1500 at 1 ohm. some amps need 0 gauge to even run @1ohm. need power to make power.
  20. could i do a push pull box for 2 of these woofers, and what would be benefits if any? http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=299-106
  21. wanting to buy from parts-express, and i need knowledge on how to choose a tweeter and a midbass even a crossover. i only want to choose from the buyout section, looking at 15$ a woofer 10$ a tweeter and depending on the price i could built one or buy a premade one. i realize the xover might not be on thr buyout section. doing a 5.1 system later i will choose a sub and plate amp? then do a small build . work at best by so will probably get a nice reciever, looking at denon.
