there will definately be a difference, you will have more control over the sub than being underpower and your subs over working your 1200 watt amp. you should sell your PG amp and order new subs too. its a shame to have that amp and not use the full power @1 ohm, plus you electrical system seems good.

are you married to that decision on subs. surprised you didn't say type R or something. look into the SSA Dcon. with sundown 1000d should sound better than those options, and maybe cheaper unless you have a hook up on those speakers/amps.

preorder sundown 2000d, and save some money.

more than a bit overrated. i sell them at my work bestbuy online they are like 250 dollars, and that was the prive so we could get ride of them. they had three different amps at 5500 watts with different looks but with the same internals.

what if i decided to go with 3 fi bl or q's and ran them at .67 ohms before box rise, would that be okay. by the way they are the dual 1 ohm.

ups just dropped the amp off seconds ago, and this beast is heavy. it was actually a day early.

so @0.5 with a box rise in resistance, which will bring the ohms up, it is okay to do that in a daily. or should i just keep it @ one ohm to be safe.

i guess my main question is should i purchase 2 dual 1 ohm nightshade and run them at 1 ohm or should i get 2 dual two ohm and run them at 0.5 ohm. i would like the lowest resistance possible for a daily driver and box would be tuned around the same number above.

sorry i had answered then edited it, i dont know remember why. but, it will be for daily[ usage two 15" nightshade 6-8cuft tuned from any where between 30-40hz. it was almost one when i made the post i was tired sorry didn't answer correct.

can i get to nightshades dual 1 ohm, wire them dowm to 0.25 ohm and run it on my 3500d. i will have about 3 batteies and h/o alternator with 250 amp. in the testing jake did the resistance, and it rose to 0.67 ohms. which they can run @0.5 ohms, right?

how many batteries would be sufficient for a daily driver, i assume by saying bank it would be more than 3 batteries.

if im wrong feel free to help in anyway. i assume i would need to upgrade my alternator, just a givin. then add about 3-4 batteries that output that voltage while using a device that seperates the batteries in the back from the one under the hood, but also charges the batteries in the rear. of course whole car can not be ran anything more than 14 volts on a 12 volt system(14.4 was the most i seen but i could be wrong) so the battery under the hood would be different than the one's in the rear. and could anyone fill me in about the missing link module, i know its not good to charge the batteries on 15.4 volts but i think it has a button to switch between from 15.4 to 14.4, any other advice welcome and even if running above 17 volts is uneccesary. i am running the 3500d and would like to get the most power i can.

i know it's the same amp, but i blew all my money in feb and was broke for a month. i meant i should have saved 100 dollars each two weeks from a 600 dollar check, for 5 months which would be 1000 dollars, and it would put me at around the same time the second run comes around. i spent all my money think there was going to be only one run at 850. thats why i feel jipped cause i thought we would be the lucky ones to have got it beforeit sold out for 850. sorry for the mix up.

blew whole tax return on 3500d in feb, i should have just save for 5 months and wait for V.2. whish i would have known there were going to be another run. feel jipped. but on the good side, i get mine friday.

why not ten's? with a 600 dollar buget you should save 200 more dollars. i would get 3 audioque sdc2.510 for 129.00 each and power then with an audioque 2200d for 389.00. then you'll have the sound you want with some quality.
