early may, has anyone seen how similar the audioque3500d looks like the 3500d. the sundown is a little skinnier and longer also a about 3 hundred rms more. i think im expecting 3800rms on my 3500d sundown.

whats the rms on the Z15's?

if he's doing 5.4 cu/ft in a maxima i could do that in my car.

from all the imput ive decided to 2 subs ported, most likely 15's should i do nightshade 1500rms, death penalty 1500rms, or bl series 1000rms. from the looks so far maybe not the bl but need imput.

what about the death penalty 21" i could afford that. or would the night shades be better.

2 nightshades dont sound bad, but i should def. go ported

it would be 3 q's or four ssd sealed and only 2 q's or bl's in ported box in the trunk.

how much cu/ft would i need for 2 nightshade 15's ported and whats the rms on them.

if i went 2 12's ported i move up to the bl series instead of Q's on the 3500d. but the 4 10's sound good because its ported. if i decided 15's nightshade would i be missing any high bass notes, because 15's that ive heard is just deeeep azz bass. and 10 are more of a ponchy bass.

have you heard good or bad about alphasonik

sorry i read that wrong i understand, but what is it really rated at, at 4 ohms x 4 channels.

did you say 160 watts rms x4 channels@4 ohms. because im putting a 3way per channel @ 4 ohms.

i have an sax 100.4 and i have 2 pair of alphasonik pct6551 3way components,2 for the front and 2 for the back there are rated at 350 watts rms would the amp be powerful enough to power the components. or should i sell them and get a lower rated component set?

do the q's and the ssd'd have the same basket displacement?

i was thinking sealed over ported because, in ported, the box will have to be bigger. and i wouldn't fit the amount of subs that i would want. i could probably only fit 2-12's q if i do ported.

preordered 3500d. now ordering subs i want bass,sq is a plus but i want more spl. i am going a sealed enclosure in a lexus gs400 i dont know the cu/ft. what would be better 3 fi q 12 or 4 ssd 12. and are the q the same displacement as the ssd, because then i could maybe do 4 instead of 3. then i would know the answer to my question. the 3 q would be dual 2 ohm at 1.34 ohms and the 4 ssd dual 2 ohm woulds get down to 1 ohm. plus it's hard to decide because i dont know the final rms of the amp.

port the box to specifications tuned to around 33@hz or what ever you like but face towards the trunk. have you evr thought of the subs one one side facing the trunk and the port facing the seats. haven't seen that yet.
