  1. Randy, I'm not in the office today. I will get back to you when I'm back (Monday).
  2. I still see it as a pending sale without being charged and without powder coating. Give stan a call or have Darren call him to sort this out.
  3. To wire up the XP you need a dual alternator harness from us. Those are $24.95 or they come with the dual kit/bracket.
  4. The alternator you ordered is one of our most popular products. It's only the oddballs that we sometimes have a delay in getting processed as quickly as the GM/Fords etc. Thanks for your business and enjoy the 270XP!
  5. Please read this: http://blog.dcpowerinc.com/2011/09/09/how-pcm-controlled-alternators-work/ There is nothing wrong with upgrading that unit with one of our XP series alternators. The newer Dodge PCMs are actually very very spontaneous at responding to voltage drops. And yes, It's definitely worth putting in your vehicle. You will gain a TON of idle output and will have a ton of power on tap.
  6. All we did was swap the regulator. That's the only thing that was wrong with it. Your alternator got mixed up with someone elses. They got the RVC, you got the 4 pin (Old GM regulator plug). Oops... As for how RVC works, read this article: http://www.duboismarketing.com/pages/article.asp?id=31 The stator isn't dirty. The black you see is how they're made straight from DENSO. All of the stators have that on them. So that was a brand new unit. As for the pulley scrapes, I have no clue... may have been from testing. See this picture that's on our website to see how they're black: Also, glad everything went well. Sorry for the mixup!
  7. Thanks for your business! Did you order this on the web? If so what's your order number to make sure everything went smoothly.
  8. Chris, The shirts are TBD. We will blow up SSA and facebook when they're ready.
  9. I see nothing in our system for an open order for a 390XP or a Blue Powdercoated alternator. I really do apologize but I show no record of this order. Please let me know if you find out what's going on.
  10. Chris, You're right. We do use a 6 groove instead of a 5 groove. You just run the belt on the inner 5 grooves and it doesn't affect anything at all. I have actually have two cobalt orders that are similar: You being Chris, and another being Kris ordered in the same time period. So we will send this out as an RVC, with a 6 groove pulley and you'll be good to go. I apologize for the mixup.
  11. Kyle likes this Glad it fit!
  12. Chris, I tried calling you and it went straight to voicemail. You have to understand that I don't have someone in my order system as "C4W18" So why i ask for an alternator picture is because I don't honestly know who you are because you never said your name. That's what people seem to forget is that I don't know who they are online half the time. I thought we already sent you a replacement out. The pulley was never wrong you were just counting the pulley incorrectly. I will get this alternator shipped out and handled because I thought you said on your cobalt ss forum that it was already re-sent back out. I was constantly watching that thread but didn't see any updates. Regardless, this was miscommunication on our part and I misunderstood what was being conveyed online. I will ship the alternator back out to you with the 2 pin regulator and you'll be set.
  13. I don't see anyone by that name in our system. Can you please tell me if you ordered online? If so whats the online order number. Or who did you speak to on the phone?
  14. please shoot me some pictures if you would please
  15. Everything else looks spot on minus that hole from the pictures. Let us know how it goes. FYI: we are closed on the weekends...
  16. Miguel you weren't sent something to just make you shut up. The plug wont have an issue. Just yours comes out the back while this one comes out the side. It won't affect performance in any way. If you're comfortable with drilling out the hole (because it doesn't look like it's tapped) to match the other that's fine otherwise call me on monday and i will send you a RMA and we will take care of it ourselves.
  17. Jared call me tomorrow in the am if you can.
  18. Jared, We're closed until tomorrow. Rob will return into the office on Wed and I'll see what's holding this up.
  19. It matches the "bolt pattern" of the AD244. It won't however go "in" an AD244 case.
  20. What are you trying to accomplish at mechman? They are designed as an ad244 replacement.
  21. Sorry about that. Thats what i get for replying late at night It fits GM V8s as well but it looks like you dont have the spacers pushed into the alternator on this particular one. So it may require spacers depending on what application you want to put it in.
  22. what vehicle is that in? hard to tell (motor too plz)
  23. No problem. let us know if we can help with anything else.
  24. Sorry for not getting back to you. It's been very busy here. I would definitely be checking for belt slip on this issue. I would also replace your belt while you're at it with a new gates belt.
