Yeah that's also an option. I like to make comparisons so I think that would be a good idea. Plus it could potentially save me a lot of cash lol. I would like to put my other2200d to work though heh. So we'll see. Also it could be fun to see what kinda number i could put up with the four 15's sealed. I think sundown has some disgusting (12) 15's sealed number like 161 db at 20hz hah.

LOL sorry was running out the door so didn't elaborate. Well, I want to get loud, but I'd also like to sound great. Daily driver. I had two 15 inch HDC3's ported with a wall-typeish setup at 8.5 cuft @ 32hz in the backseat area before with the two 2200ds, and while that was LOUD as hell, (never got metered tho), it kinda sounded like just pure spl once it moved past the 3000rms mark. So, that said, I believe I can fit about 10-12cuft of space into the car, with the sameish wallsetup. Honestly I kinda want to do it just to see not only 1: four 15's in a small car like mine lol, but also 2: what four 15's sealed sound like. I love the sound of a sealed enclosure but it's never loud enough for me. Obviously I can't do four 15's ported lol, so I figured Xcons would be the best driver for 4 sealed 15's. I'm going to start with two 15's sealed off one of my 2200d's for now, and see how that sounds while saving up for the two more 15's. I'll make a build log when it really gets underway. Was wondering if anyone on here has ran four 15 xcons sealed before?

Going to be squeezing four 15 xcons sealed in the backseat area of my grand am, off two aq2200d's strapped. O.O Thoughts? xD

I have a 15 inch q with bp already, and I need a second one. Just wondering if the parameters will still be close enough that they can share an enclosure and be alright. The new and the old.

Anyone have a Fi Q 15" Inch BP Dual 1 for sale? I need one more and it seems they are out til march. Needs to be in pretty good condition pix/refs would be cool too.

Anyone have any experience with FI Q 4th order bandpass boxes? I'm thinking about doing one for two FI q 12's. I've heard they really help to eliminate trunk rattles when you port them through the deck. I have 2200 RMS to work with.

Obviously the q's should sound better, but how much better will it be? Which setup will be louder/hit the lower notes? I have these two picked because I have room for two 15's sealed I think, whereas I would have just enough room for two 12 inch BL's ported. Each would see 1,000 watts after I got a second amp. Also, I listen to rap, but also a lot of dance/electronic, and alternative rock.

well, i suppose my main issue here is that since I've never heard any setups other than my own, I don't know for sure exactly how noticeable the loss of SQ would be going from my w6's to BLs. Thats what makes this tough for me. Same with my 1000/1v2. I'm nervous that my lights don't dim right now because the JL is so efficient, and if I go with another brand now I'm looking at a lot of electrical issues. Blah.

True JL amps are good, efficient amps. That would work though, I just wouldn't want to hassle with two amps. Just my 2 cents Yep. Dealing with two is going to be a pain. Furthermore they are outrageously expensive! 637 on ebay. But, I'm sure being able to run each at 4 ohm would make my cars electrical happy. So wait, dual 2 ohm is 1 or 4 ohm? And with two thats two 4 ohms for 2 ohms? (to one amp) So if I wanted two to one amp, i'd need Dual 1 ohm, for two 2 ohm subs to one amp, to show 1 ohm?

Well I was thinking of either saving up and getting a second JL 1000/1v2, or selling my current one and getting an AQ2200d, which I think 2200 watts at 1ohm. From what I've heard, its hard to beat a JL 1000/1v2 Amp though.

Well I'm looking to get two of whichever sub I go with, because I'm looking to double my power to around 2000rms sometime in the future. I can fit two 15 Q's sealed. I can fit two 12 inch Bl's ported. Which would you do? Two 15 Q's sealed or two 12 bl's ported? Looking to get the low, feel it in ur chest, notes.

I'm coming from two 13.5 inch JL w6v2's. I have a JL 1000/1v2 amp currently. I love the accuracy of the w6v2s, and it does get pretty loud. But I'm starting to want to be able to really impress myself and others with some disgustingly powerful low/loud notes. This leads me to wanting to sell and upgrade. I dont know which I should go for though. the Q line or the BL line. This is going in a trunk of a Pontiac grand am, so I think ported 15 inch BL's are out of the picture. But, I could most likely fit 15 inch Q's. Should I maybe go 12 inch ported BL's though? Hah its oftely confusing because the Q and the BL seem pretty close. Thanks for any help guys.
