Fuse Question
The kid is asking advice on a 250a fuse and doesn't know the difference between 1 and 0 ga. And all the while people are trying to logistically explain something that is illogical to this guy. I say don't buy the fuse block!!! Stop and catch up bro you need to do some reading before your wallet flies open. If not I got some nice ocean front property in ks for sale. I read it all just fine

I wouldn't post some shit like this if I wasn't serious. Mostly I was hoping to get a free t shirt for representing. I'm tired of manufacturers wanting people like me to pay them to advertise for them. I've been tryin to get my pics to post up but the best I've been able to do is get links. Here are a couple shots this is all from my iPhone

I'm curious to know if there is any sponsorship available here?? I'm currently using your products in competition and have done very well doing so. I would like to represent this company as I compete. The cool thing I enjoy about competing is there are always a lot of guys around the trunk when I pop it to get metered in the lane. I have some nice equipment back there and present it well because it's so simple. At first glance most people notice that I'm packin some gear and that in itself shows them I know what I'm doing. It's then they notice my branded equipment and comment what I have and inquire about it. It's at that exact moment that RE Audio comes from my mouth. I'm winning trophies in your name. I'm a regular dude using your products on a regular basis. I have represented your company in my community with trophies displaying your brand. . . . It wouldn't hurt you guys to send me a t-shirt or something.

Why did you get the gm kit for the secondary battery? What kind of battery do you have back there? You should just get 4 of those scorpion terminals for both pos and neg posts on both batteries

How many are there? There should be one that goes to the starter one to the fuse box and one that goes to the alternator. They are probably 8ga. The factory alt wire on our camry was for gauge. I just replaced all the wires on both terminals when I did my big three upgrade. There are probably only two wires on the negative terminal. 1 to the engine and one to the body. Take a picture that shows a little more of the battery. That one is too close to see anything.

No that wasn't me in the video. My friend in Ohio made it for me since we live so far away it was the easiest way to show me how to do it. Since you are such a noob I thought I'd pass it on to help you out. He is a member on this site jay-c76 and a person's post count is not always a reflection of their experience

These are good terminals. 1.30 a piece 0 Gauge Ring Terminals get the battery terminals that allow you to screw down your ring terminals something like this or this

this is a vid my friend(jay-c76) made for me that helped me wihen I was having trouble here. It works really well. I think we decided that the flux isn't necessary and mapp gas works best. I have fun making these

Well I guess there goes my theory on being tight on budget!! Damn bro. Either way look at darvex.com for your terminals. I suggest getting the crimp on connectors and soldering them with a torch and the thickest soder you can get good luck

What I don't understand is why you are going to buy 20' of 0ga and do your big 3 with your 4ga. I'm gonna try this from my phone couple pics of my upgrades i can't imagine using more then 15' to do the big 3 but if you want to make sure-Take a string and pull out all the distances you will be running and you will get a better idea. I was just saying use the 4ga if you have. No money to spend on this right now

Good smartphones and providers.
If you are going AT&T check out the online store. I got a refurb 8gb iPhone for 50 bucks. Same warranty as a new one. You have to go to an apple store to get repairs. I've dropped mine a couple times and they fixed it both times for free. You have to get the unlimited data plan from AT&T with iPhone. I believe that is in honest best interest for the customer. I'm at the end of my billing cycle and I just hit 1gb of data. It's super easy to use up a lot of data with the iPhone. I've been very happy with AT&T. I've used all major carriers except verizon and have incurred serious overage fees by everyone except AT&T. The iPhone comes standard with google maps which has an excellent gps built in. It gives public transit and walking directions as well as driving. The camera is really good but doesn't have a flash My bill is right at 76 a month. I get a small discount but doesn't make a big dif. I am signed up for 450 min and 1500 text. I never go over and use my phone way too much. Posting this from it right now. Lol

I was kinda wondering the same thing. That's a big difference between 14 and 12. Might want to rev it up and see what it puts out. I'm wondering about resting voltage because if it was higher then 12.1 when you started it up then what the hell is that? The bat charging the alt? Hopefully you didn't get a bunk alt bro

I don't really know much about the cca stuff. I'm sure 0ga cca would be better then 4ga. The stuff I got was pretty stiff too but way cheaper then the high flex cable. I was just browsing around on eBay and found some 16' and 18' pieces for like 30 bucks free shipping. That would be more cost effective for doing just the big three. I followed the directions that came with my ho alt and it was more like 5 upgrades. Either way you should put a dmm on your batteries before and after and see how much it helps. Edit: I started thinking about it and if I was in your position and had little or no money to spend- I would start by upgrading the batteries ground to the body with one or two really short pieces of 4ga. See if that helps any

I've been told to stay away from the cca stuff. When I did my install I bought a 50' roll for a little over 100 bucks. Found it on eBay. I just looked and found a 25' roll 50 bucks free shipping. Darvex is a good place to find connectors and terminals. Excellent customer service as well

I'm lookin forward to throwin another 12 in the trunk. We'll see what happens in the next couple of months. I must be green behind the ears because that 143 I hit was the loudest and hardest I had personally witnessed. I can't imagine what a 147 is like.
