  1. if im doing a sheet metal ground thats what i do too. the reason you put it through the terminal itself is to keep it from moving. makes it a solid ground. i usually use 2 in the hole and 1 in the terminal itself. most daily setups dont need much more than that because they never really have enough current to make a difference. No, the real reason you put it through the terminal too is because your too lazy to use it the way it was intended and it may take alittle more time.. LOL I use 1/4" bolts and nuts/lock/fender washer, or use the factory seat location with the factorry seat bolt (ground down of course) Did you really just try an justify why you make horrible grounds. Awesome work Robin, it looks good on both forums.
  2. Sucks about your amp situation but thats a hard budget to work with for 10-15k.
  3. Its an issue with cd players after, brand doesnt play to much of a factor with this. Try resetting the radio, after getting cd out blow some compressed air inside. Could be a mechanical issue or electrical issue with head unit. Open up your headunit and pull the cd out, probably the only way to do it without damaging it. How long have you had this unit, maybe time for a new one?
  4. Old school power FTW, I like the material used to cover it all up
  5. Haha your the one with the sand in the vagina, im cool as a cucumber
  6. Yeah you did waste your time posting this. Its not that we dont car about direct wiring, its not that. Its the fact how some people expect shops to do more labor then required and this thread turning into a why did a speaker wire install cost me $200. If you asked for the direct wiring and it came out this way then yes this thread would be valuable. Using tape for connectors is not all that bad, I dont use them becuase I will pay the extra 2 bucks for connectors (not as messy if you gotta redo the wiring and doesnt have the option of peeling off like tape). If you were to work on my current car you would probably do the same thing considering how I cant run wires throug my door jam period, so in certain cases that is a good alternative. The real question is why even pay the shop to do something you are physically capable of doing yourself?
  7. That Lanzar Optidrive is a beast, ive seen a good amount of people using the 500x2 and 700x2 for their mids lately.
  8. you can call Incriminator Audio or paypal $20 to [email protected]. Check the first post in this thread for more info.
  9. Dumb fuck is dumb, troll is gonna be a troll. I find it funny, a few years ago it was SSA subs cost too much and now its Fi. Bro we know your a DD nuthugger so this isnt a suprise coming from you. Whats funny is that you think Fi owes you an answer about their Neo prices going up but your to dumb to notice they are not the only company that took a hit, i guess you didnt notice IA is not selling Wardens anymore. Price of neo going up has nothing to do with China hoarding it, its because all these hybrid and electric engines. They are made of neo and are taking the large amount of supply with their demand for it. Everybody wanted more fuel efficient cars these last few years and came at a price, the raising cost of neo. On a side not how do you feel abot the 1800 dollar price tag of the DD Z, let me guess well worth it.
  10. Got my second copy today, thanks again Nick.
  11. How do those horns sound? Build looks nice, seen it on another forum as well. Good job on the 10" in the door
  12. Bro that Mayhem 12" will crush a 15" Sp4, mad deee beeez
  13. No amp is really above others and im pretty sure someone can come in here and vouch they had problems with one brand of amps as you seen already. This thread wont really help you much but just give you bias opinions. Next someone is going to say why not DC2k or IA20.1, plus I wouldnt put 3500 watts on a btl unless your competing thats just me (2500 watts should be fine daily) but then again all that depends on your box size. No 2k amp versues another 2k amp will automatically give you a 1-3db difference so its really gonna come down to personal preference. When its time to buy I would focus on what I can get in my budget (used or new)
  14. Looks nice, real nice. I like the old ones design a little more, will they still be available as well.
  15. So you didn't say: I'm definitely not someone who starts shit on here, but I don't like being called out either. If you weren't trying to say...."same build house, same quality" then what did that statement mean? Emotionally he meant what he said then when reasoning and logic kicked in he came to. reality. My comment got to him thinking i said atomic amps are bad quality when i was speaking in general about different brand amps coming from the same build house. Some people are defensive for no reason
  16. and put it on the teh meter.
  17. This is going to be a very nice build, people will think you have 3 complete woofers in that box when done. Call me a dummy but arent passive radiators for a sealed box when you wanna control the tunning.
  18. No bro didnt you hear, you cant go back to one 15" then you will be back in the 90's :
  19. Oh your the king of teh deee beeez with all those subs, do you play them all together in one box j/k Yeah bro, started 2 years ago and still going on. Like there isnt adhesive or anything wrong rocking a sub without lettering. For the money, I would be more worried about perfomance which shouldnt be an issue than a sticker. But to each their own
  20. another steer and queer cowboy lmao Nice comeback bro and whos crying about stickers, haha try again. "Help me please, if my stickers fall off my sub Im gonna have a bitch fit."funny how people with small shitty set ups know more and the ones with better and bigger set ups know less lol one 15 come on bro we are not in the 90s no more lmao You finally stepped up to the big boy leagues and have room to talk, I like that you felt defeated. One 15'' installed with 4-12''s in the living room chilling so im good. Assumptions make you look good, if I knew you were gonna use status as ammo I would put up my comming soon gear like you Now back to your sticker, hope it stays on. Regular schedule programming can resume sorry for the clutter.
  21. Call American Bass and see if they have any archive information available or check their website.
