  1. My factory USB outlet was always an issue when I first received the car and looking into Hyundai Forums, I wasnt the only one with this issue so I had to fix it. When I first installed my radio I did temp install with usb extension cord that came with my Pioneer radio. In the first picture in between my leg and gear shifter, there is the USB cord just laying there loosely. This time I did a permanent install, removed the factory connection and ran a 3.0 USB cable through the factory opening.
  2. I had some down time and 60 degree weather to get some stuff done to the ride. I replaced a panel that I broke out of frustration while looking for a screw when installing my radio last year. Dont mind the floor mats didnt clean them out before pictures were taken.
  3. Nice upgrades man. I always wanted to try Crossfire's products. Those new C7s are dope
  4. Slowly getting these Weather Tech mats installed, backseats done so far.
  5. I definitely appreciate ya man, Im anxious to get started.
  6. Time to get my car detailed on the inside since these new mats will be going in.
  7. After years and years and years of salivating over these things, I finally have my HLCDs. Im so excited, dont know when Ill try to mount these things. I honestly didn't think the horn body was this massive.
  8. After almost 3 years she is playing finally. Don't enjoy the sub amplifier on the dsp so far. Every forum says to leave the crossovers wide open on the Amere 3800 amp since there is no full pass or way to turn of the lpf on the amplifier. While leaving the crossovers wide open and tuning with the dsp its not allowing the sub to get moving. Turned crossovers down to halfway point on the amp definitely woke up the subwoofer a lot though. I have the sub set at lpf 65hz at 24db and ssf 28hz @ 24db on the dsp for now. Subwoofer is a Fi Sp4 dual 2 wired to 1 ohm on a Ampere Audio AA3800.1.
  9. Finally ran the right size power wire for the starting battery to fuse distribution block. Cut some plastic off the factory power block terminal and got the 2/o welding cable terminal installed. Upgraded the fuse from an 80a ANL to a 350a ANL fuse. Trunk will be rewired for subwoofer install tomorrow morning. Its been too long without bass. I wont hammer on it for awhile since my car has a smart charging feature that doesnt allow it to see full voltage at all times. H/O Alt is being looked into at the moment.
  10. Northstar 31s are sold out earlier so I just got the equivalence at the same cost, so win win. Even though I have OCD it wont bother me that bad.
  11. You're welcome man, and more pictures to follow as well.
  12. Thanks bro. Its almost time to hear some beat, I have been bassless for too long. And actually doing things right and not rushing is making this patient process that much more enjoyable.
  13. Bought some female RCA dust covers for the the jacks that aren't used.
  14. Thanks guys, I love your product. I left a review but for some reason couldn't upload pictures at the time.
  15. Thanks man I wish I had a project vehicle as well, this is just my daily driver.
  16. Just finished the rear deck, ill do the doors in the future. Still have 3 sheets left out of 20 sheets (I got the 40sq. feet pack).
  17. @Second Skin thanks for the great poduct, it was quite easy to apply. Trunk is solid now
  18. Night shots before the carpet goes back in.
  19. Got a little chilly last night so I let the sheets sit in the sun this morning.
  20. As much as I love car audio, I will pay someone to install my deadner in the future. Haha glad I decided to start a day early and do it in sections vs the whole trunk in one day. Trunk Lid is complete
  21. The best way to be ready is to be prepared. Saturday is going to be a long day, steps one and two are complete. Most of the trunks interior has been removed and wiped down with denatured alcohol, it should be dry after another wipe down on Saturday morning. All the interior sheet metal is prepped and clean.

Usually when people say tweeters are bright then they are harsh to the ear. I didnt have an issue when I auditioned some, just depends on personal preference. Some people like louder high end frequency then others while some like them to blend in seamlessly. I would go find audio shops that carry the Focal and Morel sets to see what you prefer. I been hearing good things about the B2 set as well. My current SB Acoustic tweeter may be harsh or too bright to some with their higher sensitivity compared to my mids. But since Im running active I can tame them down if need be.
