What battery do I need?
If your main battery is not an AGM battery I would personally upgrade that first then do the H/O Alt. But either way you should see some results.

LPF is not car dependent. Usually is determined by your sub, enclosure, crossover settings for midbass speakers or personal preference.- First Post

Harbor freight has clamps but make sure not to overclamp as they can't handle it from my experience.- 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport/Limited

Im upgrading the rear door speakers so I needed some speaker rings made. Didnt feel like waiting on hdpe board to get here since thats what my front door speaker rings are made of. Found some wood at work and used a co-workers jigsaw to make these, also covered with paint to match the door panel.- Hello! Illusion Audio Carbon ND-15

I usually use a bolt that mounts my seats to the vehicle but decided to drill my own hole for my ground wire on my secondary battery in my trunk. Removed paint and primer to get that bare metal connection, used lock washers as well to keep it from vibrating loose. Sprayed black spray paint to cover up the bare metal and it will get covered with sound deadner in the future.- 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport/Limited

I love the DSP but as a beginner to them its hard for me to give an in-depth review. For going active it's way easier and better than trying to use an amplifiers crossovers like I've down in the past. The Dayton does everything I need it to do and then some, there's still some features that I haven't used because Im still learning and researching. But for the money its a great device and simple to use. I was also looking at the JL TWK or Helix DSPs but decided to try to cheaper unit after researching them just to get my feet wet. If I ever upgraded it would be either of the units I mentioned above. But for now Im completely satisfied with no complaints. I took the tape and wire plastic wire loom off of the RCAs going to the 4 channel amp and ran them under the RCA connections. Looks way better just need to put cable ties on each end for aesthetics.- 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport/Limited
Halfway installed, still have the power and ground wires to install for both the Amp and DSP. I also need to add some more wire tie downs and she will be complete. I also need to figure something out with the RCAs so they arent hanging over the DSP like that. Most labels have been removed since everything is hooked up now.- 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport/Limited
