  1. You dont need top of the line electrical system for 1 btl, u might need a strong capacitor possibly an extra battery but u dont need to get all that stuff for it, i have a 15" btl fully loaded on a hifonics brutus 20100, 2000rms, and no extras and my battery gage is fine, i am getting an extra battery just so it takes strain off the alternator but u dont NEED it. Caps arent good if you dont have the power to start with and adding another battery puts a strain on the alternator also (thats more charging it has to do).
  2. To find your car's amp output, either look online for it (you could go to parts stores on here and see what they are selling for a factory amp for your car) or call the dealership. It shouldnt be that hard to find, some ho alternator companies actually know what these stock cars have since they replace them and deal with them. I call mechman I believe and he was able to give me background information on my alternator and told me it was underrated by 10-15amps, so the answers are out there.
  3. For Alternators: Iraggi, DC Power, Mechman and Ohio just to name some For Batteries: Stinger, Deka, Shuriken, XS Power, Kinetik just to name some Now when it comes to exact numbers it depends. what alternators are made for your car and what battery size you need to go with it. Try finding out how many amps your factory alt puts out then we can go from there. You should also start seeing what size alternators these companies make for your car.
  4. Lots and lots of testing plus some more testing when you get done with that testing.
  5. Did you read my post and see what i said you will need? A budget would help also.
  6. I may be wrong but that might have something to do with the bass traveling from speakers to windshield and then bouncing off of winshield but hey I may be wrong, just wanted to throw that out there. I read somewhere that sound waves don't reflect off the windshield. I guess I was wrong, you learn something new everyday. Thanks
  7. Where is that shit from, it is hilarious? Im the baddest motherfucker in the world, have you ever seen a costume like mine?
  8. Well I guess I was wrong then, learn something new everyday.
  9. Welcome and glad you could join us . Your gonna need to find someone who can help you build a box (we can help you one here) or get one built locally by somebody or a company on here who builds them. Your gonna need to do the Big 3 Wiring in your car, your gonna need a battery to add in your trunk, your gonna need an HO Alternator. What size alternator is in your car now? Will you have any other amps in the car? Your gonna need lots of 1/0AWG wire (either weldingsupply.com or knukonceptz.com).
  10. Thats exactly how I felt, if people mind there business it would have been avoided and wouldnt say something that would be said on Oprah. OP if your comparing an L7 to a FI Q and FI BL, then it is not a comparison at all. You should be looking at the L7 or Fi BL and go from there, most may mention to you step aside from Mainstream products and get a FI BL. Its up to you, as long as it fits your budget requirements then go for the BL in my opinion since Kickers cant be reconed if something were to happen.
  11. Yeah, thats what it says under his name unless he moved but Garden Plains, Kansas.
  12. I may be wrong but that might have something to do with the bass traveling from speakers to windshield and then bouncing off of winshield but hey I may be wrong, just wanted to throw that out there.
  13. x2, we need way more information buddy (read new member guidelines).
  14. Audibel Customs is located in Louisiana not Fisher Customs.
  15. Heard about this earlier too, this weather is horrible.
  16. x2, another Cowboys fan I see.
  17. Your gonna need some clamps, a router or jig saw to cut out the hole for the subwoofer, Titebond glue and silicone to seal up the enclosure.
  18. Cant wait to see these build logs and if you end up with more product than you want to use, Ill gladly take them off your hands.
  19. Either some more of those SAZ-3500D's I see in the picture or you upgraded to the SAZ-4500D's ( a lot of them) .
  20. Yeah I hope your passenger door stays on , this makes me even miss having a sub installed even more.
  21. Looking good, systems sounds nice.
  22. x2, and what tuning do you prefer. Please read new member guidelines before posting again and next time only open one topic when it is about the same thing as your previous topics.
  23. It's actually pretty cheap. 7 pounds of body filler= 20 bucks a lot of resin = 35~ and mat is like 6 dollars here. Yeah the money is the last thing Im worried about, I will wait till it gets warmer so I will have more time and patience to deal with it (I hate doing shit when it is cold).
