  1. If you answer the questions above that i posted it will tell you exactly what it is.
  2. I'm taking the amp too! lol Yeah dude, that padding must be like temperpedic amp bedness. Haha, yeah I only have two and will be putting the other one under my other high amp I get in the future. I wish I had two more to put under my sub amp but I have padded feet for those right now.
  3. You would risk your life for an $8 board from Home Depot, I picked it out of the Book Shelf, Shelve Building section (already painted and cut to size exact/they have different sizes and colors available). But thanks for the compliment, this is my third time doing this but wanted to make this one a little more special than the last one and the padding underneath the amp does it.
  4. What batteries do you have again, did you get replacement C&D batteries from the one that was messed up if you stuck with those batteries?
  5. Are you saying that when you turn you car off and open the door the radio stays on or cuts off? If you turn the car off with the key and dont open a door the radio will stay on till you open the door or for about 10-15minutes until all the interior electrical accessories cut off on there own. My 2003 Saturn does this also if we are talking about the same thing. Now if you take your key out and open the door and close it and your radio is on then you have your 12volt constant wire and ignition wire switched up with one another.
  6. Everytime I see one of your boxes I want you to make me want, just dont want to get raped in shipping it to Dallas. Im going to bite the bullet one day, keep up the excellent work

Get them based of your preferences not someone else's. If your going to just have them for competition then get the slp version and if your just jamming for daily and musical purposes then get the daily version. If you want to wire one subwoofer dual 1 ohm to 2 ohms or .5 ohms or you can get a dual 2 ohm and wire to 1 ohms or 4 ohms. So it depends on your needs and setup and not anybody else's.
  8. I know the audioque aq2200d is 349, the Soundstream runs around 500 or better (so that is out of your budget).
  9. Can you say ridiculous, great videos. How did you do at the show?
  10. x2 on that one .
  11. I would get which everyone is within your budget, and does rated power. Both those amps should push the BTL nicely, just make sure you electrical can provide the power for the amp.
  12. x2, and that is something I despise about myself not being able to buy used because I pass up on some good deals but hey (just a personal preference).
  13. I thought I was the only one going overkill by using liguid nails as a sealer for all joints instead of silicone like most. I do have a question that will help me and others shizzzon, why do people say not to use liquid nails as glue between the pieces instead of titebond or other wood glue (my last box for 3-12"s was liquid nails for glue and sealent; which was a strong and sturdy box)?
  14. Yeah that was the problem and your werent giving it the proper power supply it needed for that low of an ohm load. Go to: Sundown Amp Repairs
  15. Its upgrading these three wires with 1/0AWG: 1. Engine Block/Alternator Bolt to Car's Frame (-) 2. Battery Negative Post to Car's Frame (-) 3. Battery Positive Post to Alternator's Positive Post (+)
  16. There is no telling, Im still getting it designed at the moment but even if it is done it wont go in for a minute. Here are a couple more pictures of SAX-125.2 installed:
  17. Draw out designs first before wasting wood even though your getting practice. Instead of using wood use cardboard to shape out how the drawing is and pick one then cut it out of wood. Just my .02
  18. Hardware store, Walmart, Autozone, almost anywhere that sells paint or spray paint.
  19. This riddle was horrible, I got it on the first try. Come on shizzzon you gotta do better man, I thought I was in for a challenge buddy.
  20. What do you mean would it work, makes no sense? If you get the SAZ-3500D and two Xcons then get a HO Alternator (shop around and get the biggest one you can find), then get a couple of batteries, do the Big 3, a couple of runs 1/0AWG and a voltmeter to help you. Go look like anybody else and find the price, your gonna have to do some work on your own buddy.
  21. No need for two topics my man.
  22. No need for two different topics about the same thing. All subwoofers in the right enclosure will get loud and have good sound quality and if installed right. What is your budget on subs, on amps, do you have and upgraded electrical system, the list goes on? Those are the questions that you need to answer before someone can give you some good advice, go out and look at subwoofers and make a list of the ones in your budget and come back to us if you still cant decide. Read new member guidelines before posting again, thankx.
  23. x2, good idea on that one. Just get a big amp that does the power at 2 ohms instead of pushing an amp to its limits or more.
  24. If your worried about not wanting to upgrade your electrical for a minute then dont get Rockford amps because they are power hungry, dont get me wrong they're great amps just will strain a weak electrical. Just my .02 but yeah do big 3 and get a voltmeter installed to watch your voltage then go from there if you have voltage drops.
  25. Excellent looking box and looks better then the wall, Im glad it worked out for ya. Have you got it metered yet, wandering what it is doing now?
