  1. Yeah do that, I just bought one last week and cant wail to install it.
  2. Well measure how long the port wall is and someone on here will be able to help you determine tuning frequency. Also get the displacement of the subs if you can.
  3. I see thanks for clarifying that. I heard in some forums that you should never have your boost higher than the gain but I thought it was weird. Anyways, does that mean I should set my bass boost to 0 (absolutely to the left)? Yeah leave it at the 0db position, all the way left.
  4. Naw the sell is still going on for the Z15's, Jacob says he has a fair amount of them left (more D2's than D4's).
  5. x2, just look at the back of your radio and see how the harness pin looks and then go to sonicelectronix.com and check out the harness pin on the X993 and see if they are the same.
  6. I think it will take more than just one XS Power D3100 to keep his voltage nice. Just my .02
  7. Glad you could join us .
  8. Glad you could join us It depends on what size your stock alternator is, hook everything up and buy a voltmeter. Once your out jamming, watch your voltage and if you dont have any drops then your good and if you do then go buy another battery.
  9. Its D2. And the crunch P1500.1 is what you meant correct ? Its rated at 750RMS @ 1ohm. And its $159.00 with free shipping here No he meant exactly what he was talking about, the Massive Audio P1500.1, Crunch sucks just like Hifonics does and they dont do rated power. Hifonics may if your voltage is steady at 14.4v and Im pretty sure you voltage wont be at that level so you wont be saying rated power at all.

  11. I would say your cheapest solution is to try some expanding foam between the two layers, it helped with my trunk rattle alot (making it sound solid instead hollow like it did before the foam). I used two cans, only cost $4-$5 a can. Just my .02
  12. Is it also tricky to take it out of its mounting location? Im thinking just take it out your car and measure it in someone else's.
  13. I just want to know what you want an AK 47 for, do you plan on using it. I only buy the guns I plan on using not just to have to say I gotta choppa. Its funny how now days kids dont just have guns they got the biggest guns. But I guess to each its own.
  14. What are you talking about?
  15. First of all I would suggest you use 3/4" mdf and not .5" mdf for a sub that size, just my .02. Yeah that enclosure is just any where around 5.2 ft^3 and up depending on port size and placement.
  16. I would probably say neither as it seems like both will need more space than your giving them. How much room do you have put an enclosure in? What kind of an enclosure, is this going to be a wall? It seems like your just trying to throw as many subwoofers in there as you can, which is not smart to do unless yuo have the right space for them.
  17. The only ones I have heard about are the Deka Intimidators
  18. Jaime Fox ft. Gucci Mane - Speak French
  19. Yeah that size is ok, I think if you dont like your box how it is now then to rebuild to 30-33hz and make it a little bit bigger if you can.

whats it tuned to? x2 and what is the measurement of the port? Is you sub a dual 2ohm wired like this: .
  21. x2, set your lpf to your preference between those hz listed above and dont use bass boost just extra stree on he woofers and it centers the bass around that 45HZ frequency they are usually set at.
  22. As listed about MB Quart 2000, Audioque 2200D, any Sundown Amp or Audiopipe would do the sub some justice. Yeah Hifonics are good amps but if your not getting the top of the line amps I wouldnt get one, since it is under MB Quart in quality and they are the same brand minus well go with the MB Quart. Just pick an amp that is within your budget, the bes thing abou Sundown amps they are underrated and usually do the rated rms at 12 volts while most companies rated rms is at 14.4 volts (if you dont have a steady voltage of 14.4volts, you will never see that rated rms). Just my .02 I not really a fan of amps with lights on them because that is just extra heat that they have to shovel out, but yeah to turn the light off just unplug the wire that controls it.
  23. I was going to say the same thing, just make sure you clear the cart and remove everything after you go through the process.
