  1. No need for both, id take Beyma over PRV.
  2. Anything is available to be customized, so if Q didnt do them himself you could get them done yourself.
  3. yeah i second this, try the Ethos sealed. Then if not completely satisfied with output and box size then change subs.
  4. Looks badass so far
  5. We already gave you all the info needed, if you need more help then email Rusty at DC. Will yield you better results than bumping this thread.
  6. I would. It seems at the rate these subs are proeuced today, the weight just keeps getting higher and higher. It would still be cheaper than some other drivers in its class. Just my .02
  7. Set it outside and somebody usually just grabs it.
  8. I see more trophies in your future man, keep up the hard work.
  9. It would help us to know what product your reviewing, glad you found and upgrade for those pwx's (never cared for them).
  10. To bad a USA manufacturer can't build some. There is one, check my sig. Dont need to derail this topic anymore but ive heard good things about PRV Audio.
  11. Just because an owner of a shop talks bad about a product has nothing to do with the performance, obviously he knows nothing about it or just wanted to make a buck. Again stop letting people make a decision for you and make one for yourself.
  12. What is a burb? You mean you hope to burp a 155.
  13. Sounds reasonable to me. So do you think the Soundqubed 2200 would be a good amp for the Ethos? They seem to have a good track record with a ton of good reviews, which was why I was considering it first. Plus having that warranty is worth a little extra to me.I honestly dont know how else to answer your question, its been asnwered plenty of times by now. If the amp meets your budget, power requirements, space requirements, proven company then i dont see why not.
  14. Id rather buy new myself, not saying you can't get some badass equipment and a good deal used. Just my personal preference. Yeah i wouldn't get caught up in the numbers game, just make sure the equipment has a good track record and you're golden.
  15. You wont get 2200 watts continous no matter what amp you use, no amp is 100% efficient and most power is turned into heat anyway. Buy a reputable amp in the power range you need and your set. Stop over complicating things, no such thing as impedence rise. There is a such thing a impedence curve, the impedence fluctuates. If an amp is rated at 2200 watts at 14.4 volts then of course you wont see that at 13 or 12 volts, that's why most people get their electrical up to par to minimize voltage drop. Unless you are competing you wont hear a difference between an amp that does 2200 watts, 2500 watts or 3000 watts so its all irrelevant anyways.
  16. Clamp test mean nothing, that amp does what it is supposed to do. If the Soundqubed is flawed then you are saying Digital Designs is flawed as well. Both companies have good track records
  17. That is a option, but I like to run ported boxes in my Jeep Liberty. I might have to skip new tractor tires and build a better box.Build it on the large side to compensate for the power you are using, I loved my 15" Icon ported.
  18. You been on this forum long enough to know their is no such thing as underpowering a subwoofer and stuffing a subwoofer in a pre-fab box even if its a custom box for another sub is a no go. Every thread you make is ridiculous and you give the least bit of information, like you tell the newcomers when they start a thread please read the rules before making a topic. You need to follow that same advice that you dish out. If thats all you can get at the moment and you wanna go for it then do it as it is your money and install. If you want optimal results then stick witt the recommended info on SSA's site for the Icon enclosures. Yes it will work, how good it will work is subjective so as long as you like it. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/13994-attention-noobs/
