Thanks guys ! I'm so happy they look nice on the car. It's not easy to order rims on the internet : you have to guess how they will look.

The btl was a 12" sub in a small Toyota. The zcon is a 15" sub in a much bigger car. I can't really compare them. Both sound good enough to me ! I sold the btl to my installer, only because he couldn't find a second 15" btl for his car. I loved this sub. I'm very happy with the zcon.

Thank you. I saw them on their website, but there is no price for the HDC3 recone. All the other recone kits are priced though. I'll send them an email, when I'm sure about the basket model (8 spokes, or v8 spokes).

Hi, I bought 2 soundqubed hdc3 15" for a friend recently on the SSA store, and he already blew one. He uses a Taramps 8K on them ! Is it possible to order a recone kit on SSA, or do I need o go on Soundqubed website ? I can't even find the price for this kit. But I saw the HDC4 recone price, so it must be cheaper ! In case I need to order through Soundqubed, I hope they answer emails, because, I don't want to call them : my english may not be good enough, and my telephoen bill will jump too much with a super long distance call like that (to a foreign country) ! Waiting for some ideas. Thanks guys.

The wait is long for SSA and Fi, but when you get the product, you are so happy !!! I love all my SSA subs, and I've never listen to a Fi or AA sub I did not like. My N2 was a beast too: what a sub ! Big output, good sound, AND light weight ! I sold it to a friend who could not find a second one for his car. OP : you should put the Zcon in your list I only miss the light weight from the N2, but I have a bigger and more powerful car, now. So...no problem ! Good luck.

Make a sealed box, if you can. It will sound good. A round port can be easy to use, if you realy want a ported box. Good luck. Your daughter will love it, no matter what you do !

Are you sure the HDC4 likes those kind of enclosures ? I hope so, for you. I don't understand why so much people wants to try 4th order bandpass enclosures. Maybe someone could explain it to me ! OP : why don't you want a "regular" ported box ? No bashing here, it's only for my knowledge.

Paris is amazing for tourism, shopping, eating, your girlfriend or wife will always love it (your bank account won't)..... I rather go there on summers though ! If you want to have fun, maybe Barcelona, or Ibiza... For a foreigner like me, New York is the town to visit at least once in a lifetime. I still need to go there. :-)

I feel like you're an Xcon guy ! The Xcon 15" will be nice on a Sundown amp too. I'm not a Soudqubed fan, but I'm not saying their products are bad. Just a personal taste here Give some meurements to be sure about what you can fit in your cargo area. I think you can find everything in the SSA store : they have reputable brands and products. Take a look at all the SSA subs : there must be one to please you !

138 db with a 10" Xcon ? Great score ! Some of my car audio friends need to see that. congratulations.

I would be scared to put a BTL in a sealed chamber. I love those subs : they can be super loud, and still seriously musical and accurate. It's a pitty they don't make N2's no more.

Why do you want to use such a big amplifier for those 2 subs ? A 4000 w amp should be enough, and easier on the electrical.

I would keep the SSD or an SSA sub, on a 600 watts SAE amp. I like matching amps ! :-)

You should try to sell those 8" speakers and read carefully M5 words........
