Don't put the amp on the box, it will be too hard to take the box out when you need it. With the amp off the box you only need to disconnect + and -. Personnally, I'd run the Havoc in the ported box, I'd put both amps on the back of the rear seats (the bigger one), and that's it. The cargo area is huge for a 12" sub ! Watch your voltage, do the big3. Your alternator is not so small, it will be enough to play some good music when driving.

Forget the rear speakers, and focus on a front stage. Maybe you don't need such a big an expensive amplifier. A good 2 channel amp (150 x 2), or a small 4 channel amp, should be nice on a serious comp set ! It's just an idea, not a must !

Did you try to turn down the rear speakers ? The first time I did it, I suddenly found my sub had a better sound, and my front stage too. It was surprinsing. Each time I change the position of the box, I feel a change in the sound. Did you try to move it a bit ? Good luck ! BTW a 15 L7 in 1.5 ft3 sealed box must be super boomy ! I had one in 2.something net, and I hated it. I liked it in a 5ft3 sealed box !!!

ROFL !!! What head unit are you running ? Is it a Pioneer, with the pico fuse problem ?

He runs 2 "small" amplifiers. And he already has two batteries. I don't know if he did the big3, but I can't understand why he has major voltage drops. There must be a problem somewhere. I'm not an expert at all. Of course running the biggest alternator you can will always be a good thing. Especially if you run a 3500 watts amplifier. You will need more or bigger batteries too. If you're after resale value, get some well known brand, or buy good used products

Sell them fast, before he changes his mind ! I always run my EQ flat on my head unit. I have a single set of comps, and their install is not perfect at all, but I love the sound. You're in the right way now ! Sell that EQ and use the money for sds or secondskin products. :-) :-)

Thanks for the review. We have some of those Taramps and Brazilian amps nowadays in my country. People don't know how to judge them, and are a little bit afraid of such big power in those small cases !

Find somebody to do it for free, or ask and pay for it : I usually use Ram-designs. It's "cheap" and efficient. Good luck !

How will you run a second rubicon 2500 to the same sub to have more power? Will you run each amp at 0.5 Ohm ?
