  1. that is huuuge ! waiting for more...
  2. great ! Do you like the results ? Any scores or specs on the box itself ?
  3. Wow ! That is insane ! Great look, and very loud for sure ! congratulations to the owner
  4. Do you think those pwx give you enough midbass ? I don't know, I've never tested them. I've never tried to cross my sub over 80-100 Hz. You have 2 18"s, and you want them to blend very well with your front stage ? That seems hard to do, unless you turn down the gain on your bass amp, and have very loud midbass speakers. just my 2 cents.
  5. I gave you +1 !
  6. Where can I find info about the X series ? Are they on the market ?
  7. BTM, I sold the rear speakers to make some money
  8. No rear speakers in my car. I had some good ones in the rear doors, but I could not tell they were playing !!! So I took them out, and now my mids & highs amp is bridged on the single set of comps I have in the front doors. I love it like that.
  9. It's hard to believe, for beginners (I'm not a pro, at all), but the quality of the install is REALLY important. I've heared some sets of Audiopipe comps that was sounding so nice in a car, when I hated them in most other ones. This brand is very popular in my country, it's just for the example. Same thing for subs : In a bad box any sub can sound horrible ! I listened to one AA Havoc 15" recently, and it was awful !!! I know it is a very good sub, but it was in a poor install (bad box, bad settings,...) OP, tell us what you like, what you don't. Go make some listening sessions in the shops near you and come back and tell us what you think about the sets you tried. And then maybe some could help you. Good luck.
  10. I've never listened to a good setup with pro audio drivers in a car. I know it's possible, but.., I hate them, ....until I can find good ones. I'm not into competition sound systems. My single set of Focal is still amazing to my ears. (I had the budget for that).
  11. Pics are too small !!! Tuned in. I like to see builds in cars we have in my country. (not really the same Camrys here, but...not like your huge SUV or 4x4s !).
  12. You're going into troubles !!! j/k Good luck I would like to try a passive setup, once, but I don't have time to tune anything to often, and I don't like to play with settings. So, I just bought a good component set and tried to install it properly in my front doors. I still love the sound, 7 years after.
  13. Never had any problem with the old style packaging. This one must be heavier but safer too. I'll see when I order my next SSA sub ! Congrats, OP. Very good choice
  14. Hi guys, My box builder, a good friend of mine, is looking for a 15" N2 DVC1 (fully loaded if possible). He already has one and needs a second to run on his coming Sundown NS-1. We're not in the Continental US. So it will be international shipping, with Fedex or UPS. We know shipping is expensive but are willing to pay for good service. The money is ready. I will use my Paypal account. I usually don't buy used equipments on the internet but Fi does not sell those subs anymore. Make offers please. I'm serious and ready.
  15. I love the roundovers. Nice work.
  16. Run it at 2 Ohms, OP. Focus on an efficient box
  17. This is amazing ! You have good skills, sir I'm waiting for more... I can tell you this French car is small, VERY small !!! It's a C2, but the C1 is even smaller.
  18. No Dcons available ? Just get a single SSA Gcon or Icon with your budget for 2 subs. Think about it
  19. Nice score with that amp. Congratulations I won't try to reach it with mine.
