It sounded really good with the old box @ 32 Hz, but I wanted to try something else with the port firing up and a higher tuning. I like it so far ! Thanks again for the comments.

You only need to buy a second AQ amp so. Problem solved !!! Or you can sell it and get a big amp working at 2 Ohms. like a Stetsom for example.

My friend did the same score with a BTL N2 15" on 1800 w, this friday night. Stock alt and 2 AGM batts. He was disappointed, but he knows his box is really not optimal (3.1 ft3 @ 33 Hz) with sub up & port to the side. I'm sure your friend can improve that score with such power. But I don't know how big is his car. That plays a big role too. You can have a much better score, Lantz. Keep working on it ! Thanks for posting. It gives us, some hope to perform better.

Last one was 2.1 ft3 @ 32 hz. This one is 2.5 fr3 @ 34 hz.

The hatch is really small. I know this is a kind of marine grade mdf. It is a little lighter than 3/4" mdf. A bit smaller too : 18 mm and not 19 mm like your usual mdf. The box builder learnt to "kerf" after getting a design from JblCamry. It was so ...complete! Thanks for the comments ! :-)

the box is like 1.5 cubes each and tuned way to high for my liking. the amp (temporary) in a massive audio 3k and yeah im planning on doing 1 [email protected] ohm untill i can afford a second one and then link them together 1.5 seem small. But I don't know what the Zcons like. You're going for 2-2.5 ft3 per sub ? What tuning ?

Those 12"s look massive !!! What was wrong with your box ? Port too small ? I can't really see how it is. What brand is the big grey amp ? You'd rather run one (or two) AQ 2200 ? Nice build bro !

Ooh yes ! I can't really say it is not going so low than the old one (2.1 ft @ 32 Hz). But it is way louder to my ears ! I like how it sounds. I feel like it is louder than all the subs I ever had ! I don't need no 15" sub now. that 12" is enough..for now.
