  1. Thanks Ford302 for the info about the way to strap amps ! I did not understand the .4 .8 thing ! I got it , now ! Audioque may be cheaper, but I can't have them, and I don't want them neither. The 2000 w is cheaper than a Sundown 1500 ! I can always find cheaper, like Audiopipe, Crunch,...
  2. A DC 3500 is cheaper than a Sundown 2500 ! Got it ?! I don't know how are the build quality and the parts used in it, but it's a new option for me.
  3. I was told if everything is good in the output section today then its going to be shipped back to me today. And I personally wouldn't go care for the prices of the DC amps. From what shizzzon told me, they are expensive and nothing special is added to the table. But its just me based on what shizzzon has told me. I've just receive an answer from a South East dealer, and they are not expensive at all ! they have a 2000 w and a 3500 w models. Not really what I'm looking for, but with such pricing, I may go that route. I will not post those prices here, bu they are niiiice ! I'm afraid to run a 3500 watts amp on my car, and going from 1500 w to 2000 w won't change a lot for me !
  4. Ooh yes ! Very nice build. I'd love to make a listen. You gave me some good ideas !
  5. I like your new sig ///M5 ! Thanks for keeping the gyal pic !!! Sorry, back to topic !
  6. I will take a look at these Crunch amps. I don't know where to find the DC amps, I need to look at their website. Thanks for all the ideas, guys. I'm not in a hurry, even if the money is burning my pockets !!! I need to wait and think seriously about what I want to do. But I have no problem with shipping, I know what it is, and I pay what I have to pay to receive my equipments. I've been doing it for years now, not only for car audio ! One more thing : how can I strapp 2 saz 1500 like Frod302redneck said ? 1.4 Ohm each ? How can I do that ?
  7. Fantastic price, but I don't want Audiopipe. It's just me, I'm not saying it's not a good product. Thanks a lot. Keep throwing ideas !
  8. I don't know what alternator I have, but I know it is strong enough for my current system ! I always check my voltmeter in the cig lighter, and I have another for the rear Kinetic battery. I have the same numbers everyday. I listen to my system for my commutes : 30 minutes max to go to work and the same to go back home. I don't do demos, or for 1 or 2 min only. My system is not big/loud enough to attract people for loud demos on our friday night meetings !!! I've just received a quote for a SAZ 3000 from db-r. I need to think about it some more.
  9. tuned in 4 sho ! Do you think the truck will handle all that weight ? And I did not even saw the subs, batts and amps !!! It must be at least a V6 with more than 300 hp. Nice work. Congratulations !
  10. @ford302redneck : I don't know how to strapp 2 saz 1500 to get the Ohm load I need. I don't want to run those amps below 1 Ohm. Not for warranty issues, but I don't want to fry anything. I take care of my stuff, and so far, I've never burnt anything : no amps, no subs, no speakers. And I want to go on like that. I sell all my equipments LOCALLY only. And I buy from the USA, always brand new in stores, so far ! @ Nick_19 : I can wait, but I need a deadline ! You know what it is when you have some money. There are always bills, and things to do with that money ! For $500 it would be fantastic ! @ edouble101 : I don't want Crescendo, I'd rather have a Stetsom. (I love Brazil !!!). There is a saz 3000 at db-r : I wonder if I can run it. It must need so much power to run right ! But the price is good.
  11. I did not have the money when the used 2500's were sold by sundown directly. That was a fantastic deal !
  12. Audioque won't ship anything to me, because they do not have a repair center in my country ! I can't add a second saz 1500 : the sub is DVC2, so 2 saz 1500s strapped will give me 3000 at 2 ohms, not at 1 ohm. And I have the v1 model, not the available v2. What do you think about the Cadence ZRS c something series ? Powerful, reliable ?
  13. always nice to look trhough ALL your build Sefugi ! You're the man !!! congrats. I thought it would be a smaller install, from your introduction, but you're Sefugi !!! Like they say in Jamaïca : big things ah gwaan ! tuned in for sure.
  14. Not what is in your sig ! But I'm tuned in !
  15. Wow ! Amazing !
  16. Hi, I want to upgrade my amplifier. I have a Sundown 1500 now. And I can sell it easily (I hope so !). I want more power for the btl N2. the sub is in a ported box : 2.1 ft3 at 32 Hz. * I like the Sundown 2500 but it is not in stock, maybe on some e bay stores though. * I saw the Stetsom 2k5, but I have never run stetsom, and I don't know. there are not so much reviews about them. I only sam people usingthe most powerful ones for comps, on videos. * There are several Soundstream, like the Rubicon or others. * There is a Sundown 3000 at db-r too for a good price too ! The amp will be hooked on a Kinetic HC 1200 in the cargo arera, with a stock batt and a stock alt under the hood. everything runs fine with the 1500. Maybe I'll have to upgrade something with more power. I will see when it's done. Give me your opinions , please. I'd like to hear more about the Stetsom amp. What would you do ? Ooh, and the budget : 700 - 800 $ max for the amp itself. I'll add shipping and taxes later to have the final cost. Thanks guys,...and gyals !
  17. You're starting big, Youg gun ! Seems like everything is planned !!! Cool !
  18. Looks like a monster ! I hope you will post some more pics of your instal !
  19. Shipping must be hot with 1" mdf (heavy box !) But it seems right. Get it if you want. I think the btl will like it !
  20. Budget, car, musical tastes, box,...etc ? Maybe it's a joke ?!!!
  21. You'd better have a good box for that ! I know Type R can be loud, and you had 2 of them ! Good luck ! Waiting is hard but you will be so happy when you get the sub !!! Be strong, be patient !
  22. you found the best forum now. Enjoy
  23. I don't want/need to talk with haters ! I've posted on our Fb page (car audio 972, but don't look at it ! I'm not proud of those cars !!!) some of the enclosures I had, and some internal pics of the boxes, and now I have more and more customers for my friend the builder !!! People starts to understand that the enclosure is very important. Ooh, and I think the hate really started when they saw an Icon 15" with a low tuned box with better results than a lot of system (even walls !). It did only a little 139.ish db ! Thanks to SSA, JBLCamry and Eclectic Design (Bromo) !!! We're waiting on the Zcon now !
  24. Why did you put the tweeters so far from the mids ? You have room to put them close. Nice build ! Good work !
