I'd get the big battery. Your stock alt is not so weak, and you're running "only" 2700 watts ! Do the big 3 and get the voltmeter. I'm not an electrical specialist, so do what you got to do ! And good luck !

The Btl sounds good. I can tell you that ! Mine is shining and makes me smile each time I start my car ! What don't you like about it ? I had a 15" SSA Xcon before. On 3000 watts, (2) 12" Xcons will make you in the right box !!! Put the xcon on the list.

It's a big system for a first try ! Are you sure you want to go that big ? I would start with a 1000 watts rms system, like a Fi bl (if you want Fi) and a 1000 watts amplifier. 18" is huge and need huge box, do you have room to loose like that in your car ? You could be really satisfied with 2 Sundown SA subs on a Sundown sax 1200 amp. If you want to change later, or add a second sub, it will be more difficult with an 18" sub than with a 12" or 15" sub. I don't know how much room you have. But a 10" Icon ported, or sealed would be a good choice. You don't need the full 1000 watts to make it shine. You have the budget for it and a nice little amp. Hope you have good deals on boxes ! Or get a GOOD custom one. Get a small amp and a good box. You can upgrade the amp later. Even a 4 channel amp can work : 2 for your front stage, 2 bridged on the sub.

BTW Bromo, we feel we had to add some more braicing. So we added some where needed, and now the box is harder, stronger. My builder is adding the same kind of bracing to all his speakerboxes of his pro audio system, and he loves the change !!! Thanks for him !

Emplyment rate is bad here. Lots of young people unemployed, but we have social security and everything you can have in France. People are nice, girls are sooooo beautiful !!!! But..............we speak Créole and French. No problem to find someone speaking English though ! We learn it in school from the age of 10 or even before. Our neighbour islands (Dominica in the north and St Lucia in the south) speak Créole and English ! They are at about 30 km, maybe 20 miles from us. We used to have a lot of American and Canadian tourist, but not nowadays. Tourism is difficult ! See you (soon ?) in Martinique.

I need a Stetsom amp. I don't know which one yet, but my customer/friend is ready to buy. How can I see the prices. And what about the delivery ? Next comp is in February, the 20th, so he's in a hurry ! We need about 6000 watts rms at 2 Ohms. So maybe the 7k2, or smaller.

I'll ask SSA about the Stetsom amps.
