Why not cut a circle with a diameter that matches the flare you want . Then use that to apply the filler. Viola perfectly tapered flare first time

Because the horn isnt what gives it bass, the 4th order configuration does. Yeah , I was told that using 8's in it wouldn't produce desirable results on the low end . Made me wonder what they were expecting
