  1. Elmers also has a urethane glue out called pro bond or something like that. Wal mart has it for $2.88 for the same size as the woodworx ( 16oz I think ) I'm gonna buy a bottle and give it a whirl.
  2. THe new woodglues are alot stronger. Most are hybrid versions of what they used to be.
  3. Yep wood worx is from loc tite. It's cheaper than titebond and works just as well . I'm with you on the gorilla glue. they went up on the price here though. It's $15 for the small bottle now
  4. Woodworx is great stuff. Nah, the tube busted on me. I had to resort to using my finger oh well
  5. happy birthday my brother.
  6. Look more All for now
  7. Antiques are nice Got the baffles done
  8. Got rolling last night, forgot to take pictures along the way ;( But here are a couple of the progress. Looking into the mouth of the beast
  9. Is this the one that owns me ?? Or maybe this is the one ?? I had a reason for the screws on the inner horn walls. They are so far into the center of the enclosure. It's hard to get good solid clamping one them. So I use scrap pieces, and clamp them over top of the walls to provide adequate clamping force while I put the screws in. The screws provide better pulling force over brads. Which is really needed here.
  10. My dad came by this weekend and said that exact same thing. "D@mn boy, you drawing some kind of satanic pentagram or something?? "
  11. It's more fun to drill 14,000 little tiny holes while your drinking anyway. I have a reason
  12. here we go. need a little less beer in the formula for this one Getting there, predrilling this many holes is a pita.
  13. I hadd one to many beers too think straight when I typed that. Any angle over 45 can be flipped over and cut the opposite way. I'm working on uploading some pictures right now. D@mn cable doesn't want to cooperate
  14. It's not too easy if your table saw won't go past 45 degrees But not difficult, just a little more time consuming. I'll hopefully get some pics up later tonight. Caue I'm a getting there
  15. as long as you stay 36" long and between 24"-36"wide there really isn't much math except for playing connect the dots. Once you get the able saw set for the angle. You can leave it for every other piece.
  16. Should be fun to say the least. Hopefully I'll get to start on it this weekend. Supposed to rain though, and my only way of hauling full sheets is exposed to the weather. We'll see though.
  17. Thanks man. There are a couple on there. But I still got several that aren't I told you I'm an old bass head man I'm thinking of building a Wicked One using an old pair of power acoustic 8's that I picked up at yard sale for $1. 4ohm Single voice coil ( coils read 3.87, and 3.93 ) 150w rms. I have everything needed to test like the link squeak posted. I think I'm gonna give it a whirl and see what I come up with. The enclosure is large enough for me to be able to play with the volume of the sealed chamber in the rear. So we'll see how it all works out. Thanks guys
  18. Thanks squeak , more reading ahead I see
  19. I tell you what man. I don't know what kind of grease MB uses on the window motor gears. But man that chit is hard as he!! to get off your skin.
  20. From time to time I come across old drivers. A lot of which are so old, finding listed t/s parameters is impossible. So I have started the search for a way to test for t/s parameters myself. Which lead me to parts express and the woofer tester 2. Anybody had any experience with this thing ? How accurate are the measurements it provides ? Is there any other cheaper more accurate way to test t/s parameters ? Any help would be much appreciated. here's a link to the woofer tester 2. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.c...tnumber=390-802
  21. I so wanted to take back the roll with the foot of wire left to lowes, and tell them it was actually 101' and I was returning the extra we didn't pay for just to see the reaction it would get.
  22. It's not like I'm moving there or something MY good friends at bombardier want to meet a true red blooded american neck. And I got chosen to oblige them
  23. Did you check the ditch out front ? It's deep enough for something or some one to fall into and get lost
  24. Aight my canadian breatheren. Seems as though I get to spend couple of weeks at a certain facility in Valcourt Quebec. I'll be heading up there the last two weeks in February. Got a couple of questions for the experts as this is my first trip to the great white north 1. What is there to do in the area ? I will be taking a couple seminars during the day. But will have free time at night and a weekend. 2. What kind of weather should I expect this time of year ? 3. Is canadian beer as good as they say ? Any help would be much appreciated
  25. Last I remember seeing the second roll, it was laying in Dave's front yard with your clothes.
