ok ive got 2 type r's for now, not forever. but i wanna get a good 1500 rms amp i can use for now and the future. so far im lookin at Audiopipe AP1500D Autotek Mean Machine 1500.1 US Amps MD2 Sundown SAE-1200 Hifonics Brutus 2000 Power Acoustik BAMF 4000 So far its kinda in that order, with sundown only bein that low bc its only 1200rms

what is everyones opinions on treo? obviously they have a high and low end but they seem overpriced to me...

ya but g-monks van is running less than 1000 rms per sub actually somewhere around 600 each i think...im talkin a van with 14 18's like all BTL's on like 3k each...thats gotta blow everything away

done a extended econoline van or dodge ram van with somethin like 12 or 14 18's yet...i mean a 2000 dodge ram van extended version has 295 cu ft...just think i t would be the most badass bass vehicle possible with that kinda set up

nice box looks like it was built well...but is it just me or is the sub closest to the port gonna load up like a m-effer. IMO the farther away the better

thinking of either running 3 AQ SDC2.5 15's or 2 HDC3 15's...wondering what to tune them at. ive heard around 38-40 but that seems high. I had 2 BL 18's @ 33hz and liked the way that sounded so im thinking around 33-35 for the AQ's. Opinions por favor.....

ya definately...especially for 15's unless they are AQs. mine was 13.6 @ 33 hz....that whole slot on the bottom moved mad air. port was like 57 wide and like 5 tall lol..did you build that box yourself?

RAAMmat- stuff works great and is thicker than dynamat extreme. also is butyl based and NOT asphalt based. used 100 plus feet on my ram and have no complaints and is waaaayy cheaper than dynamat extremem or fatmat extreme and i actually like it better than dynamat extreme..just my .02c

a local shop has a brahma laying around never used except for caraudio.com mag testing and they want 4 bills for it...is it worth it? and what are your opinions on these. and they also carry USD audio. has anyone ever heard of/used these??

ya but cars and trucks are completely diff...slp's on a truck thats not slammed would be a little donkey man. not the right tonality for a big truck. just my opinion. those do sound awesome on a stang tho

ur def gonna want that alt...do yourself a favor and save some money in the future and just get 2 2400 with the yellow and get a alt...the stock one has no chance. bc even if u got a 200 amp alt or a 220 it would be night and day. and the 200's or 220s are only like 350 or 400...virtually same price as a 2400..the 300 is about 700 shipped from iraggi =/ i think of it the same as a engine...u can add chit on a 350 to make it fast but the 454 is gonna have so much pull even with same hp as the suped up 350 u know...just some food for thought.

ya i got myself a yellow top too...goin steady 5 yrs now just gettin abused like a catholic school boy lol jk haha...but i was thinking puttin that kinetik up front and then the 1 yellow and maybe another red or 2 in the back as well...next set up possibly 4-6k watts so might need it dont know yet tho

ya my BL 18's were in a 13^3 box slot tuned at 33hz 5 by 55 all across the bottom and it was low. sounded clean, just not enough room for 18's. id tune low rather than up at 40. ground pounders are so much badder than just puttin up numbers. the NS should be a mean setup. have fun with some buildings haha

how long has he had them in there? and what is he doin alt/batt wise?? honestly it sounds really good on that motor. nice low tone, stays low but gets loud as well. i got a full 3 inch catback and a 4inch ss tip out the back right. looks mean man. only other muff i was considering was cherry bomb extreme...not the glasspack one but the muffler one. id still say go flow 40. ive had friends no muffs, and some with no muffs and cats...sounds natty either way to me, but LOUD! hows those red tops?
