I have no doubt it can take more than rated, but I dont think it will take that kind of power. From what I have been told it does not have the cooling to do so. It's just not that type of sub and is not marketed as such either.

If I was in the market and they sound good to my ears, I would give them a try. Minus the fan boy above who may not even run the drivers, Team LP/Blues is a good group of guys just doing their thing. Carry on.

I agree with you 100%. Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde come to mind. They play flat and low and are a very much a SQ subwoofer. On the flip side, they are still flat and musical with 2000w on them beating the shit out of things. The SSA gang did this one right. It's a cage fighter in a suit and tie.

I should have a second HO alt and dual bracket ready any day now and then I will put her on the juice and see what it do. I used to chew Copenhagen, but got tired of driving all over town trying to find a can with a good date on it. Been rolling with the Grizz for a few years now. I wasn't assuming you made the covers, but that you installed them. I have seem enough shows where new vinyl/leather was installed on seats to make me think it was not worth the effort, not enough patients on my part, great job! Ah, I got ya now. Honestly, it was VERY easy. Took me about 2 hours total, maybe less. Prolly could spend some more time pulling and tucking to clean them up a little more, but overall nothing hard about it.
