  1. Looks nice man. Should be a nice set up when you get done. Why not bridge the 100.4 on the front and put the 125 on the rear since you have the amps already? They would love the extra power and headroom. Space? Dylan will get back to you, I guess he is busy. Took him a long time for myself too. It will be worth it in the end, the guy is damn good. Question for you on the tint. I want to put 5% over my factory tint on the rear doors and back windows also, but does it make it impossible to see out of at night or is it ok? I know it will be bad, but just how bad? lol
  2. I cant take credit for this, I found it on another forum and saved it.
  3. Wait! You married your cousin? LOL.......sorry bro had to do it.
  4. Welcome
  5. You tune it the same way you would a single port. w x h = port area + total port length = your tuning.
  6. I am very biased and think the xcons are the perfect ground pounder subs. That said, the 12" SA's have the potential to get louder and will still sound very good too. Tough call.
  7. Anytime bro. I am just down the road from you in Florence. Thanks man!! I appreciate that. Pro audio drivers are different from car components for sure. The benefit is they are so damn sensitive and get stupid loud. The vocals are very clear and the B&C have some nice midbass too. I think the B&C mids could be an excellent SQ driver if mated up with a nice set of horns. Honestly I just wanted something that would get loud and still sound good at low volume too. So far so good. Really just buy a set and try them. You don't have to spend a whole bunch just to see if you like the sound. I bought some Selenium to test and decided it was something that would work for my goals and then went with the B&C. I will prolly put the Selenium up for sale on the low here one day. It was not flannel backed I don't believe tho it did have a backing. It was kinda stretchy but almost too think to pull hard on or it would deform and have pull marks. I would guess it is marine vinyl or it at least looks like boat seats would. I did find some that was very stretchy but could not find a color I liked. Guess like everything else trial and error until you find something that works best.

Buy gold and silver coins. Then your retirement is a hobby.
  9. If you like it keep it. If it was mine, it would have to go.
  10. that's not bad man.
  11. Hey Fucktard, Either take a picture so you can get an straight answer or cut another piece. Freaking out over a $30 sheet of MDF is ridiculous. BTW Lowes and Home Depot will cut it for free!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Ha Ha, me too. Thank you Sir. Would Atlanta be half way for you too? lol
  13. I like gray black better, but too much plastic to paint on mine. Black and tan it is. Katskinz = out of my budget for this one. Thanks Buddy! I like them pretty good. They get loud and have a nice sound. Yeah I was running the Dynaudio 362 and I lOVED them, but they were too laid back for this type of install. My sub stage with the 2 18's was too much for them, and will be adding 2 more. I didnt change because i didnt like the Dyns, I changed because I had to if I wanted to hear vocals. lol The Dyns are still the nicest set of comps I have ever owned and hopefully one day I can find them a new home in a SQ build.
  14. Thanks Brotha. Hopefully the box will start this week. Thanks Denim. I have some grills on order for the front from parts express, but the rear I have no idea as they are a funky shape. Never seen a grill for that. lol If I had thought it out, i would have cut the base for the pod a little bigger and put a larger grill over that. Oh well, it is what it is for now.
  15. Thank you Sir! That means a lot coming from you as I have much respect for you and your build.
  16. Agree with Denim Box looks nice. What a shame you are only getting 10,000 watts. lol I know how it goes tho man.
  17. Seriously, WTF? To answer your question.........Yes or no, its highly possible, but doubtful.
  18. thanks man, I got to put that on paper for a visual. I got to see a visual for things to click ya know.
  19. not sure what up with the pics, they are there for me. Yes, according to that the amps will parallel (internally) even when strapped. thank you for that link Sir!
  20. Nice! Love the EVO. I was half asleep turning at a light the other morning and one blew by me and the waste gate dumped, bout scared the shit out of me.
  21. Thanks buddy, I appreciate that. Tell you what, I will meet you half way, lets say Atlanta Georgia. lol More like texas lol lol Thank you man. You did try to warn me about the vinyl. I am looking forward to making progress on the box.
  22. Hey guys. I have 4 D1 coil subs and I want to wire to a final load of 2 ohm. Here is that: What a mess!!! My question is can I wire 2 pair like so at 4 ohm and run each to the amps bringing the final load to 2 ohm final? This option would allow me to run heaver ga wire and make wiring much easier. My amps manual says to run master positive to sub positive and slave positive to sub negative with a jumper wire running from master negative to slave negative. My 2 D1 subs are currently wired like so using all 4 speaker inputs on the amp to bring the load to 1 ohm. Let me know if I am not being clear about something and Thanks in advance for any help!
  23. Thanks buddy, I appreciate that. Tell you what, I will meet you half way, lets say Atlanta Georgia. lol
  24. Yeah, cool! I want to go see one in person, but they do look nice in the pic. Other pics they are darker tan so should flow pretty good. I think I could paint some of the plastic and make it look better too.
