Dont know about that! One of my good friends owns a cabinet shop and he needs work. He asked me if he could build my box and i would have let him until he said $675.00. bandpass on the crossover brah! You want to limit the frequencies the midbass plays and concentrate it on the midbass frequencies, then lowpass the subs and highpass the components. If you dont cut off the upper range of that midbass you will have a big peak in the midrange frequencies and it will sound like shit.

You will prolly need to bandpass that midbass to blend with your other components. That B&C is sexy! I have been looking at that one myself!

Listen to jaycee. Put a DMM on the + and - speaker wires at your amp with the car off and check the load. I bet it is wired too low. If the speaker still sounds blown, check the coils. You will know if one is shot immediately.
