have you actually had time with a vehicle with multiple rl-ps and 3000 wrms? and time with a vehicle with an rls and 3000 wrms? to compare? there is just something about the rls to me that is screaming sick sq at really high volumes and below 60hz? (rattleing teeth?)

as much as i love my rl-p 12, of the 2 options above i would go with (2) rls and the baddest 4 ohm amps (yes 2 of them) i could find....plus electrical upgrades. maybe your buddies 4 x memphis would be louder ( i doubt it) but whenever you and he want to drive anywhere, you will both want to go in your truck, because it will sound so much better. my money sais that you could sit / drive in the truck with the rls for much longer periods of time at significantly higher volumes because it will be much less fatigueing. go rls for shizzle! actually maybe just 1 rls and about 4000 wrms? cmon dude, forget trying to impress your buddie, go for a seriously SICK low end instead.

do the ts params of this 8 make it good 4 i.b installations? im thinking 2 of them in my rear shelf now?

and the skill saw, jig saw, sander, tape measure, square, drill,hammer..........

if you can figure a way to get one of these monster 8s 'sealed' between the drivers seat and the pedals, let me know.....i cant do it! i tried hard but i was defeated by the dark side.

mmmmm??? a few hours and some mdf have left me a few centimeters from joy? just cant get the box small enough to leave enough room to work pedals safely and big enough to accomadate 'that' magnet? im gonna sleep on it, i usually think of something? but as for now no review? just a real weird looking box thats slightly too big.

a little off topic but i have a h.t. sub that i disconnected, just to put some power to my new proto 8s that i got from mike.everything started to move when i put power to it, everything except the cone of the sub, just everything else?......very promiseing to be able to make various objects in the vecinity jump about with no box around the sub and the sub hardly trying

is a 6th order going to fit in the footwell of the front seats?

to build an enclosure to house the 8, so it fires forward fro where it is now.basically just build a sealed enclosure around the sub where it is now....and one on the drivers side also.

i got 2 x proto 8s in the mail 6 ohm connected in paralell gives me 3 ohm.very excited, anyone care to guess what the difference will be btween an rl-p 12 i.b and 2 proto 8s in a dual flolded horn?

yea, my rl-p12 is sooooo good, it never fails to impress me, when played quietly it delivers everything down way low effortlessly and accurately, and when im in the mood and i crank the volume, it beats me with the same ability.i just want to play with a soundsplinter 8, but really i want a pair............................. c'mon mike make it a pair for $160 plus shipping
