Oh ok cool. Was just curious because i was thinking that the btl could take that power. Have heard alot if great things about the mayhem. Not sure of the price on the mayhem but the btl is actually not ad expensive as one might expect

Is there any particular reason he hasn't considered the btl's?

I would think those 2500's would be more than enough as well. Although some use 3k on them I realty don't think they need that much power to get loud

Did u check the fuse under the hood. Odds are that both amps didn't blow at the same time.

I have the pioneer 880 prs and it's one of the best units I've ever had. It could prob be had used within your budget

I was on their website last nite and it was fine. And then I went to the btl's and got the same thing you guys got. Oddly enough it worked fine for all the other subs.
