  3. Welcome to SSA and back to car audio
  4. New subs being built and on the way.
  5. Counter sink for sure, and make sure to use the bit small enough to allow for a good bite usually 1/2 the size of the screw diameter. And if your drill has a torque setting, set it for when the head of the screw is tight, but doesn,t break the head off. And with saying this, leave them in.
  6. to SSA ask away!!!!!
  7. Yea the Xcon 12's were nothing short of impressive, and i think the install and vehicle definitely are at fault for the change of heart for subs. Sure don't want to beat up a couple of subs that don't deserve it.
  8. Nice, I'll have to grab that one, but here is one I have made a staple for demo when it comes to the lows.
  9. "XS POWER" Charging forward.
  10. Xs power, it's not a matter of life or death, it's more serious than that.
  11. Wow! what a beast, can't wait for final tune and full power.
  12. You are in for a treat!
  13. Here is my 1400 had to turn it on its side, and it makes for a great starting battery.
  14. Wish I could get a demo, looks really good man keep up the good work! SSA FTW!
  15. The Xcons in the 12" were very impressive, as far as loudness and sounding superb, its a hard act to follow, and having run these subs in a trunk which is hard to get loud these subs delivered. Best way to describe these subs is its like having a high end Home Theater with massive output while achieving superior Sound Quality, and if you like low bass these subs dig way down deep with authority, the vids i have with them in my car comes from an enclosure tuned to 32hz. Hope this helps you out if you have any more questions please ask. The Xcons were designed to be SQ subs, but they have jaw dropping amounts of output given what they are designed for.
  16. Just beautiful man Glad it worked out for you, and your not done yet once you get the tune down and that alt in there..................... well u know the rest. Congrats
  17. Hmmm what can i put in there!!!!
  18. Well it was fun while it lasted, pulled the Xcons go and get them guys they need a new home,
  19. Yea bish has some lungs. I would say! Gonna keep it for the zcons? Yes sir, and probably get another tuned a lil higher.
  20. Yea bish has some lungs.
  21. Sweet man im tuned in for it.
  22. Cant wait to see this monster in action!
  23. Quick vid w ran down batts
  24. Well wired back to 1ohm and WOW its pretty damn sweet with lots of air moving and the lows are violent, but unhappy to report that the subs still making ugly noises, but only in the higher bass notes, the lows seem to be under control with no problems and are very strong. This could be attributed to voltage its hard to tell, but it the output and bass gets a bit more cleaner and a noticeable bit of more output was noticed when i put another 200amps on the setup via large charger with 200a start mode, Definitely need to get an alt in the car the amp runs through the reserve rather fast with the stock alt.
