I have ran multiple subs on a free air setup and none have given me an unsatisfactory result like now, and besides the fact i now have a biased feeling about certain subs. I am sure Mark will take care of this, as this is not a spl setup but in no way should a "SQL" sub sound like this.

To say the least i would not feel good about running this sub on a daily setup.

sounds like the coil is rubbing esp on lows

if i had to guess the spider is warped and causing coil rub

Gonna have to send this sub back to mark there is no way a sub should sound like this

this is not normal, never experienced this before sounds like metal is lose in there somewhere

Have some questions bout my xcon

Yea went from AQ to sundown had the zv.2 15's and a saz 4500d, now Gonna run the Xcons wanted subs that can take alot of power with great sq and get loud and low and its nice to have subs with ported and sealed options plus they look effin sick. Thanks for the welcoming.

Pic of The Xcon 12", next to and old pg 10" sub. First impression: These subs are beasts and have detailed top notch quality. Can't wait to get second one and get em up and running. Other Xcon owners please chime in, looking for someone who can design an enclosure for these, will get trunk dimensions tomorrow. Its raining like a mofo right now and supposed to all night.

What are your guys thoughts on a Powerbass XA-4000D, any experience with em, do they do 4krms reliable etc. and would this be a better choice than the crescendo audio 3kw.

looking for good 4krms amp that is not a power hog.

What would be the best amp to power a pair of xcons for daily, thinking of going with mmats, anyone have any experience with mmats. open to all suggestions.

Well my general goal is to get loud without losing a ton of sq and really don't care about numbers to tell you the truth just want a setup that is reliable and plays the lows with authority. Im very open to sub suggestions right now. got a new car and im coming off of running 15's with 3500rms so i know its gonna be hard to get the volume i had with the 15's with 12's but this time i want to build an efficient setup as the cabin is much smaller than my old car i should be able to achieve a loud setup.

Looking to buy and trying to find out what the best subs 12" would be as i only have 5 cubes to work with.
