Aq3500 2 15" hdc3's in pretty basic slot ported boxes, since then have added another batt and lots of power cable from what i understand with the new 4th order setup with the z's and 4500 im hoping to pull a 150+ on music around 35-38hz im gonna be tunned from 30-50hz with somewhere around 180sq in of port firing through rear decklid.

Part of my new setup which will start end of January.

If you could get the sundown 3000 at a good price i would get it, and will allow you room for expanding or changing your setup without having to buy another amp, and just because it does rated power and then some does not mean you have to have the whole 3krms you could turn down your gain on the amp and be fine. its always good to have more power than needed and the sundown amps are very efficient, and with impedance rise you should be ok. But like said earlier deff add a couple of batteries and upgrade your electrical.

Whats up SSA I'm new here but not to car audio, and have recently switched all my equipment to Sundown and currently in planning stage of building a 4th order with 2 Z15's V.2 and Saz4500d gonna be a low note monster. Look forward to expanding and sharing my car audio knowledge and enthusiasm with you all.

I think the comparison has turned out good, both amps perform to manufacturer spec, ratings and then some, and has answered many questions. i remember buying a punch 225a2 10 plus years ago and it had a birthsheet of 800rms what a little beast pushing 2 punch hx2 15's, my point is the amps compared above are indeed are different and performed well, and in any batch of either of the amps one 3500 may do 3500 one the dot and the next could do 3900 etc. having owned and run the aq 3500d i was blown away with it's size to output ratio and its reliability. I have no exp with sundown yet but come october i will, and expect to own another great product. As for AQ I have nothing but great things to say about the product and even better things to say about DJ and his customer service. I look forward to building the same trust in Jacob and his product, as i will be running both.
